Created by awarding-winning American adult film director Michael Raven, The Wicked is an erotic vampire thriller with a satirical twist. With over 135 directorial credits to his name, Raven demonstrates a beautiful melding between the imaginative aspects of feature films with porn.

Shot and mastered in High Definition and presented in 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound, The Wicked was produced August 8, 2008. The length of the film is 106 minutes. The cast is made up of performers with a range of experience, they are: Barrett Blade, Barry Scott, Derrick Pierce, Evan Stone, Jenny Hendrix, Johnny Castle, Kaylani Lei, Mikayla Mendez, Rocco Reed, Roxy DeVille, Scarlett Fay, Sophia Santi, Stormy Daniels, Tori Black, Voodoo and Aaron Wilcox.

Intro

An eclectic group of friends take off on a road trip in an old VW van in order to attend the late night Black Rock music festival. They pick up a pair of stranded motorists, whose suspicious behavior triggers one of the key characters to have vivid dreams, foreshadowing vampire sex and danger.

Summary

The film was preceded by two Wicked movie trailers: Race 2 Race and the Last Rose.

Scene 1 - Aaron Wilcox, Scarlette Fay (fellatio, vaginal penetration)

The movie opens with a lovely young couple making love in the desert at dusk. After they climax, they get dressed and get ready to leave. Scarlette’s character looks around, realizes that her fellow is missing, and starts to panic. Just as she’s out of the shot, we hear something nasty gobble her up.

The dangerously seductive Mikayla is a vampire who’s hungry and horny. At the strip bar, she finds Johnny looking particularly tasty, so she takes him out back and goes down on him up against his pickup truck. He pushes her up against the truck and has sex with her. These two have had an underlying chemistry, not only on the road trip, but for the last few years. They finally come to the conclusion that they need to get together, so in this second feature scene of the movie, they sneak off from the music festival to find the first place they can get naked.

Sex Appeal

It’s hot to watch well-made on-screen sex. What is more, there’s a particularly interesting element to it when it’s done in the context of a movie. Sex scenes in an R or X rated movie generally only give you a small helping, which is exciting but a bit anti-climactic. Feature films like The Wicked demonstrate a great way to incorporate explicit sex into Hollywood quality movies, thus making movies more satisfying and porn a little bit more accessible. The vampire theme also gave the cast a lot of material to work with in the darker, goth-style sex scenes.

In general, the sex scenes in the Wicked aren’t all that long, but they’re great teasers for the two longer scenes. In terms of spank factor, special features play a vital role for feature porn productions; sex scenes that didn’t make the final cut of the movie can be watched exclusively and longer versions of brief sexual encounters can be enjoyed more thoroughly.

Extra Features

The Wicked is absolutely jam packed with extra features, which is why it is deserving of a separate DVD as well as the maximum bonus points we could give.

There were many highlights from the 20 item Extra Features DVD. One that was noteworthy was the vignette called “Blood and Lust – the making of Michael Raven’s The Wicked” and another was the interview with the director, Robby D. The bloopers, outtakes, SFX Reel, and The Wicked comedy horror bit were all great additions.

Other extras mentioned above include extended scenes of the Stormy Daniels/Derrick Pierce sex scene and the Jenny Hendrix/Rocco Reed pairing. There are even further bonus sex scenes; clips from The Accidental Hooker and from Se7en Deadly Sins.

Final Thoughts

The videography was good quality and the folks in charge of lighting did a great job given the array of conditions to film, such as a strip bar, night scene and motel. The movie also had some ‘kick ass music’; Wicked could easily release a decent soundtrack from it.

A surprising aspect of this production was that Evan Stone, an extremely well-known figure in porn, barely had any lines in the movie. On the other hand, viewers get to see quite a bit of his goofy, fun side in the DVD extras.

The Wicked is a relatively entertaining, tongue in cheek horror comedy. The road trippers created an amusing ‘Scooby and the Gang’ vibe, which was perfect for this vampire flick. This porn genre is titillating, engaging and an exciting area for porn directors to explore.
