Whirl By Liberator

The Whirl is another pleasurable piece of Liberator’s bedroom adventure paraphernalia. It is simple in its design but effective in achieving its purpose: the Whirl creates opportunities for improved sex positions & oral sex. It delivers pleasurable sexual experience by enabling the user to experience better angles, tilt, height and leverage. Although it looks like an inconspicuous body pillow, it has many uses.

Presentation

The Whirl has a dual cover system and its core is made of high density foam; it is supportive and very comfortable. Whirls come in two sizes and the Microfiber covers come in a variety of colours and patterns: 7 to be exact. These shells are made of a combination of nylon and cotton which makes them feel like brushed velvet. The removable cover is washable, which is an excellent feature when considering its long term use. Take that cover off and a layer beneath is revealed: a nylon liner which is stain resistant and can easily be wiped down with a damp sponge.

The Whirl quality is high and I really liked the sturdy zippers - an important factor when you're removing the covers on a regular basis for washing. Do keep in mind that Liberator doesn’t have any Whirl replacement covers available online yet, so make sure to take good care of them until such a time as they do become offered. Overall, the Whirl’s construction is the type that would resist the negative effects of regular use because it can easily be cleaned and used in conjunction with other Liberator shapes.

Multifunctional

The Liberator Whirl has many functions: it can be used for sex, lounging, and as a bolster or body pillow to help you stretch out your body! It can be used on its own or combined with other Liberator shapes like the Wedge, Ramp or Stage. The beauty of the Liberator shapes is that they can be stacked and stay stuck; the nature of the covers allows them to do so, with the exception being that the Whirl can roll away more easily - so exercise caution when using it in conjunction with other Liberator shapes.

How it Works

The Whirl assists sexual positions and oral sex by giving you a boost and a tilt. The Whirl combines the magical combination of height and leverage to maximize your lovemaking potential. You can thrust more deeply and benefit from more endurance because the Whirl alleviates straining, cramping and overexertion. Why not direct that energy more appropriately? The Liberator website has a great demonstration video to give examples of some of the different positions you can try. Then again, don’t let it stop you from making up your own!

Some position ideas are: straddle your partner and position the Whirl under your partner’s knees (while he’s on his back) so it's easier for him to bounce you; lay your entire body right on top of the Whirl while your partner thrusts you from behind; lay yourself over the Whirl on your tummy (so that you make a ‘plus sign’) to allow your partner to penetrate you deeply from behind. Now if you flip yourself over and lay yourself over the Whirl on your lower back, angle your hips to so that your partner can thrust right into your G-spot (or P-spot). Now, scoot your body up so that just your hips are on the whirl. Now you can spread your legs widely and enjoy a very ‘exposed’ unrestrained oral session courtesy of your partner and the Whirl.

Critique

I was satisfied with the Whirl, although I didn’t receive a nylon cover for storage. The Liberator shapes in my existing collection all came with one, so I was expecting the same for the Whirl. On the other hand, the Whirl may not necessarily need a storage bag: it looks just like a body pillow and can be thrown in front of the pillows on your bed and no one would be the wiser.

Final Thoughts

The Whirl is a nice addition to my existing assortment of Liberator shapes and it was fun to try out on its own and in combination with the other Liberator pillows. All in all, this product has lasting appeal because the Whirl can be used for sexing, stretching and relaxing. It’s easy to take care of and easy to twirl & whirl on. I rate it 8.5/10.
