The battery compartment is accessed by twisting off the lid and requires two AA batteries to operate (readily available and sold separately).

Pleasure Factor

The Lia Teaser 2 has a lot going for it in that it serves a variety of pleasurable purposes. The shaft is ultra-flexible and velvety soft, so it’s great for caressing the skin during an erotic massage. The motor is fairly powerful and the vibe’s intensity gets distributed fairly evenly throughout the toy’s body - this bodes well for those who enjoy a thorough buzz rather than one that exists at the mere tip of the shaft. And since it’s made of silicone it can enter any orifice not only comfortably, but hygienically as well.

Packaging & Storage

The Lia Teaser 2 arrives in a hard plastic shell with a molded, clear plastic tray set within it. A paper insert adorned with colorful drawings, together with product features and benefits is inside. The overall presentation is decent given the relatively low price point.

No storage bag was included with purchase, but the molded tray would work fine to keep the toy in as the surface material doesn’t attract lint … just make sure it is thoroughly dried out before stowing it away. The other alternative is to stow it away in a clean sock or rolled up in a hand towel.

Cleaning & Maintenance

As with any pleasure object made of silicone, proper cleaning and maintenance practices will not only extend the life of the toy, it will ensure that your confidence in the material’s hygiene stays its highest.

Clean with a hypoallergenic soap or adult toy cleaner, allow to air dry on a lint free towel, and always remember to use a good water based lubricant to protect the material from degrading.

Critique

There are many great points that have already been mentioned about the Lia Teaser 2, including its high grade material, decent power output, and a minimalist, non-phallic appearance. The vibrations intensity is well dissipated throughout the toy, but if you prefer pinpoint power and precision, try something like the {Crystal High Intensity Bullet}.

A less appealing feature is the finicky lid to the battery compartment - it was hard to detect where the lid lined up with the rest of the toy; but that might also have had something to do with my eagerness to try out this toy! ;) Also, I wasn’t a fan of the way the intensity controls were located; it was a tad annoying to flip through all the settings, and the ‘power off’ button was at times inadvertently pressed.

Long Term Appeal

Cheers to the manufacturer for continuing to put out intimate massagers made from high quality materials, such as is the case with the silky silicone, body safe surface of the Lia Teaser 2. Conscientiously maintained the Lia can ‘Tease’ for many happy years.

Value

The pricing is great as far as vibrating, insertable silicone toys go, plus it’s waterproof and multifunctional.

Final Thoughts

The Lia Teaser 2 gets an ‘A’ for quality of materials, a ‘B’ for power and intensity, and a ‘C+’ for quality of construction and ease of use. All in all, we rate it 7.5/10.
