Shaving Pubic Hair
Although not everyone shaves fully, shaving and trimming your pubic hair is becoming more of a norm. It is great for oral sex; it can also make your genitals appear larger and more attractive. If you are new to the thought, we suggest starting out by trimming the first few times, then moving on to shaving part or all of your pubic area. If you have a partner, you may want to consider shaving each other if you find that doing it yourself is monotonous.
A Couple Warnings:
1. Some people are allergic to some shaving creams and can have painful reactions. Using a small test area to see if your body reacts to the products, you can minimize the risk of bad reactions.
2. Letting hair grow out after shaving your pubic area can be very awkward. The sharp hairs combined with the sensitive skin will make you realize just how much movement happens in that area on an average day. Itching and a little chaffing are nearly unavoidable.
Basics
1. If you have long pubic hair, trim with clippers or scissors before using a razor for the close shave.
2. Take a hot bath beforehand, it opens your pores and allows you to get a closer shave.
3. Before applying shaving cream, rinse the area with cool water.
4. Apply shaving cream a few minutes before shaving to soften hairs. Consider using a shaving cream with additional moisturizer or aloe.
5. Be sure to use a new blade, the more times you go over an area the more likely you are to irritate it.
6. When shaving, stroke an area no more than twice to reduce skin irritation. On the first stroke, go "with the grain" to remove most of the hair, then go "against the grain" for a smooth, close shave. If "going against" tends to irritate you, then skip that and use both strokes "with the grain."
7. Be sure to clean the area afterwards with soap and water to reduce the risk of infection, especially if you cut yourself.
8. Some people find a daily application of baby powder or talcum powder especially helpful after shaving to keep the area dry and irritation-free.
And there you have it...
Once you get more comfortable shaving, have some fun and experiment with different shapes. A couple fun shapes to get you started are the racing strip, a heart, a star, and an exclamation mark.

This comment is not about shaving, but about our experience with the use of laser for pubic hair removal.

Sure, it isn't like it's a radical procedure. It'll itch a bit growing back, though. Dear teddybear, I do not know any hair-removal gel, usually it's way too agressive for sensitive parts like your pussy :-( But perhaps I could give you some tips (the combination of the 3 keeps my pussy soft and smooth :-))
1) perhaps you could combine methods (as I do :-)). I use an epilator to remove hairs from the triangle-part (1x a week). And for the labia I use a razor (2-3x a week) The epilator removes hair from the root down, so keeps you smooth longer :-) If you've never done this before, start with the bikiniline and go a little bit further everytime. And make sure to stop at the real sensitive part of course; ha, ha! ;-) Anyways; no rush :-) My advice would be an epilator with extra care for sensitive skin and perhaps an ice pack, like Phillips Satinelle (Ice).
2) I use shaving oil for sensitive skin instead of cream. It really works for me!
3) In case of any rash; use 'Sudocrem'. It's the same stuff you use for babies with nappy rash, but works like a charm :-) Makes your skin all beautifull again!

Maybe 'epilator' is not a word in English? It's got little tweezers hidden in this little round head that turns around. You can use it for your legs too. Mine has a special cap for sensitive parts, to reduce the number of tweezers picking the hairs.
Does it hurt? Try it with a tweezer first. I suddenly remember I actually did :-) Plucking the hairs out at the bikini-line. But it was very time-consuming. I have very sensitive skin and it really works for me! Skin could get red first few times, but with Sudocrem, that problem is solved :-) You have to find out for yourself. Is a wax worth it?
I shave (all of it), but my hair grows so fast that I'll shave at night and have stubble when I wake up. I'm considering getting waxed, but where would I go? I'm not sure the salon where I get my hair done and brows waxed even offers Brazilian waxing, and even if it did I'd be too shy to ask the girl who does my brows to do that. 100% shaved LOL. ANYWAY! If you get red bumps, just clean the area and rub a thin layer of Clearasil onto them before you go to sleep. When you wake up, most or all of them will be gone. Some are more stubborn, and take 2 nights. But don't get Clearasil into any sensitive areas as it can burn/dry out some places. It also bleaches fabrics if you aren't careful. But it is the only thing that I have found to be effective.

I use witch hazel after I shave down there. Once I'm completely bald, I put witch hazel on a cotton ball and rub it all over the area. It reduces swelling, itching, and red bumps very quickly. You can find it at any drugstore.

what u should do is what i do use clippers for the part above the penis then when u get down to the sack just use a pair of scissors it is a little time consumming but it works very well
Electric clippers are ok. But because of the curve on the scrotum, it is very easy to cut yourself when using an electric razor. It aslo becomes more risky of you have a more wrinkly scrotum than smooth. I would recomend just using a regular straight razor and be careful. Cuts on that area are very painful. That being said, electric razors are good to use in the rest of the pubic area.
One of the best things to do to get a neat trimmed patch is to use some electric hair trimmers or clippers. Use the 1/2" or 1/4" guard attachment and trim the main area (landing strip). Then if you are really brave you can remove the guard and just use the bare blade to shape the patch. DO NOT use it without the guard on your nutsack or labia ... you are pretty much asking for trouble if you do. Usually what we do is use the clippers for the top part (landing strip/pubic patch) and then a safety razor and shaving cream on the balls and lips.
