Hey Everyone I am new to the site. I use to think before i came to this site that i needed to get laid as soon as possiable and then when I came here i realized I don't. Well my question is I am in the U.S.Army and I am 18 years old 19 this year and was curious as to if I am going to lose my virginity anytime soon. No rush but I have the confidence and the motivation to get a girl but I was involved in a car accident on Jan 7 of this year and am healing. I don't think being in the military is a misconception to getting women, but I was just curious as to if I am going to lose it anytime soon....no girl in the picture yet and what I can do to not get nervous and such in case i do when I have sex for the first time.

This is your fragile male ego talking. Everybody is nervous the first time or two. It is foolish not to think something new like this monumental occasion wouldn't make a person nervous.
You WILL lose your virginity exactly 23 days after your 19th birthday...happens to everyone. lol But seriously, there is no set time or date. I suppose the appropriate answer to this would be whenever you are ready. I'm 20 years old, about to turn 21, and I just had sex for the first time less than a week ago. When and how one loses thier virginity is always idiosyncratic to that person.
The right time and place and girl will come along one day
It is nice to have had sex but rather wait and make it something special not something that you do just because
I dont mean to sound negative on your topic.
But i got loads of friends saying all that you say, (im not saying it wont happen) but you say you will get laid ect, i always find it funny how people are confident that you will. But even through i have the worst of luck with girls, but i do belive there is a person for every one.
(I dont no why i wrote that i just had to let it out.)
How would anyone on this forum know if you will lose your virginity? Seems like a really odd question to ask!
dont worry about you'll lose it eventually, i didnt lose mine that long ago and if your comfortable with the person you do it with just try and relax and not be nervous about it because it makes it a lot easier
Dont shag the first girl who comes along, I'm 18 & I didnt wanna regret my first time so I made sure it wasnt some drunken chick, or me the drunken one. I did it with my girlfriend only of 2 months but we been getting on perfect we dont argue an we see eachother every day... I knew she was the one... an she was a virgin two, which is good cos I'd be to nervous is she had sex before and had something to compare me 2... but in all seriousness.... make it the person you love, otherwise when you find that person you love, you'll wish you saved it for them.

I will tell you one thing for certain. Your attitude towards your virginity will be handicap and will make it harder for you to "have someone in the picture"

Your virginity has to be nothing more than circumstantial. Put it out of your mind (as much as possible) and put your focus to your socializing dating/flirting efforts. Have fun, make friends, flirt, and strip yourself of goals.
Dating/sex is more about being an opportunist than it is a plan/agenda. You cant plan to get laid or meet a girl to date. you just have to be socially savvy to know when the opportunity is there.
So being goal orientated about your virginity is counterproductive to the goal itself.

I couldn't agree more. From a females point of view, I was like, what? Thats it? I don't think I will waste my time doing that again! However, Pratice and the right partner ( which I eventually found!:p ) it will get better!:D
It was actually better than I thought. My foreskin is pretty tight an I just had visions of it bein ripped from my helmet lol. but when it actually went in I duno I kinda felt numb, but a good numb... I cant explain it.. it was my first time and planning on a second time this weekend :D

I could not agree more. About and a half ago I started talking with this girl who kept telling me she wanted to take my virginity. Now me, being 16 at the time and knowing several of my friends who had already lost their V and kept telling me how amazing it was, how I need to do it etc, started seeing her and within 2 weeks we had done it (I got birthday sex). It wasnt as good as everyone had hyped it up to be. And to make it even worse I found out a week later that she had been cheating on me.
It seems that since then I havnt had the greatest impression of sex, but now a girl that I REALLY like has come along and I completely regret not saving myself for her.
