hi, i had the depo injection a few weeks ago and sex has hurt ever since a week into having the injection. I went to the doctors a last week and the doctor said it could be to do with my body now producing low levels of natural lubiricant. So me and my boyfriend went out and bought some lube, but i think we could be applying it wrong because sex still hurts. How could we make a difference to this? How do we apply it properly so that sex will not hurt me?

Use an applicator that comes with vaginal jelly and fill it with K-Y or Surgi-Lube and put a full applicator into you plus some additional around the entrance to your vagina. This puts enough there to last through a usual sex experience.
In addition, you might also try applying a light application to the shaft of his penis and glans. Not only can you have some fun applying it, the extra will help get him past the entrance even though you have lubricated it, as noted above. This is particularly important if he is wearing a condom--although only apply the lube to his glans NOT THE SHAFT. Apply lube to the outside of the condom as well. Forget about using the lubricated type condoms, they are not all that good in this respect.
