Why Do They Break?

OK, so, in my lifetime, I've broken at least 3-4 Vibrating/Rotating Dildos and 3-4 vibrators. Don't ask me how cause I don't know. But I'm curious if my most recent breakage is normal. In the past, I'm sure it was probably due to overuse on my part but my husband and I got one of those rabbits with the beads and the rotating head. He gave me a huge orgasm and ended up breaking it!!!! Is there a reason and is there anything I can do to avoid doing this! I mean, come on, I had just bought the damn thing an hour beforehand!

Break? Literally break in two? Or as in; it doesn't rotate/vibrate anymore? I'm assuming the latter.

Best guess; bad luck.

Second best guess; Maybe a fault in production. I'd go back to the store you bought it. A lot of toys come with a warranty on such defects. After all: rotating parts are the weakest parts of the toy. One electrical contactpoint doesn't connect anymore and it won't do any buzzing. (periods of warranty may differ but about every store has, I did some research on that before we bought my first toy).

Third guess; some fluid got in there. It either wasn't waterproof or it was, but it did manage to get in (esp when the latter; I'd also go back to the store)

Last guess; (and this is a (very) long shot); but could it be that strong muscles inside your vagina caused too much pressure while orgasming? Like I said; one disconnected electric contactpoint and fun is over.

This probably sounds crazy, but I think forces in there could be immense. I seem to have very tight and strong muscles down there. Very pleasurable nowadays, since I learned to control them :) But I couldn't get anything in there in my teens, not even a tiny finger or mini-tampon. And when I did finally manage, I have more than once taken them out folded, like they got crushed inside  I've recently experimented masturbating with bananas and cucumbers (not peeled). What I took out after orgasm was more like a smoothie! Luckily I put a condom on it before hand . I guess that sextoys should be made to resist such "force" :o Would be interesting to know how they test these and validate such things...

When I was a teenager I read an article about koegle (sp) exercises and their intensification of orgasms, so I proceded to do them.... a lot. My husband thinks it is because of the strength of my vaginal muscles. When I orgasm I tend to push him out a lot and I have the same problem with tampons you have. You also can't fit more than two fingers in me, and even then its a tight tight fit. I went to the toy store and couldn't believe how thick some of the dildos were, I'm pretty sure that'll never fit in me, lol. Before someone says I'm built to have babies: I went 36 hours on the max of pitocin a human is allowed to have and my son STILL couldn't get down through there. The store we bought it from doesnt allow returns "due to the nature of their merchandise" but luckily I got it in a V-day "bag" which contained lots of other fun stuff to try.

Yep, stores do not allow returns "due to the nature of their merchandise" . But guarantees on production-faults is different from wanting to exchange it for another or for money cause you're not "satisfied" ;) It does take time and trouble, so question would be if you'd want to do that.

I am very familiar with the tight fit and pushing him out  And I do Kegels too :) but to control my PC-muscles, not much strengthening. I don't really know how they got this way... One theory would be my asthma (coughing puts lots of strain on them). Another would be I'd unconsciously keep them tensed for days or longer, due to stress. I did consult my doctor, who agreed with me and thought of referring me to a specialist, but I eventually started training myself. Which really paid off! It's rather typical that having sex has greatly contributed to it in a positive way; I got even better at relaxing :)

I'm sorry to hear that it was hard to bring your son into this world. Though you shouldn't take it out on yourself. Off course I don't know what caused this in your case. But some women go through two perfect deliveries and the third just doesn't come down, for instance because the baby isn't positioned right. Hope he (and you) were doing well once he got out?

LOL yea, they did a C-section and put me out of my misery but I had a feeling he wouldn't fit (his father has a HUGE head). Plus I'd been having dreams that indicated it was gonna happen. On top of that, my older brother got stuck halfway so my mom had to have all 5 kids the same way... I wasnt worried lol. I'm glad to know someone else has the same issues, I thought I was just weird!
