White dot/Soreness/Cut?

I'm typing this for my boyfriend since he doesn't have an account.

He has a small white dot, that really hurts him between the head and the shaft. Its on the string-thing connecting the foreskin. It looks kinda like a cut to me, and he says spit and my wetness makes it burn and rubbing it, but water doesn't. It seems fairly fine, we should just lay off fooling around and stuff...but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or suggestions, or ideas to make it heal quicker? Every time it gets a bit better we kinda get...tempted so then its worse again :(. We decided to totally take a break for 5 days or so...but I'm a bit worried because its still taken a while to heal. Plus it looks red and really hurts him. Anyone else experience this? And does anyone know how it could occur so we can prevent it again? Our only theories is that maybe one of us scratched it in the night since we sleep naked, or that it scratched on the strings of my IUD. Oh and it hurts him a bit less if we use a condom, no matter how wet I am so its not lack of lube, just the actual rubbing.

Anyways hopefully someone has experienced this or has heard of this and can help us, otherwise I'll be making him see a doctor sometime soon.

Okay thanks so much sera, pretty much what we assumed but its nice to hear it from someone who knows what they're talking about ;).

Hard to tell from your description but it can be a small tear or abrasion to the frenulum. It will re-open during intercourse or during similar activity. The pH of your mouth or vagina will cause the discomfort; meanwhile, water is pretty neutral.

It's common in uncut men with a tight foreskin or can occur during trauma (zipper injury to the penis). Let the area completely heal--no sex. Keep the area clean & dry then apply an antibiotic ointment to the cleansed area. Maintaining good hygiene is essential wash with a mild soap or wipe down multiple times daily with half hydrogen peroxide mixed with half water using a cotton ball or gauze. Any increased redness, pain, low grade fever, discharge be certain to seek medical attention. Be certain to keep the area clean after urinating & be certain to prevent the build-up of smegma.

Try to keep your bacteria off his torn area since your bacteria is foreign to his body...if it's painful with pants on put a pantyliner or pad (unscented) in his undies to help pad the area.

Additionally, watch the white area you are seeing is not a buildup of purulent discharge (pus) under the tissue, watch for increased swelling and redness (signs of an infection), and do not wrap anything around the penis in an attempt to bandage it.
