Which Toy should I get for my Girlfriend?

I want to get a toy for my girlfriend, she is very shy and new when it comes to using toys and such and I am not too familiar with a lot of these products myself.

I tried using a few of them but she didn't like them and said they felt "weird".

someone got me a giftcard for $200 to http://www.69adulttoys.com
I have purchased with that the first 3 toys I saw and she didn't like any of them,, I looked through their site and they have so many different products my head started spinning.

Please help and tell me what I should get for her,,

thanks...

My wife LOVES this one:

Best bang for your buck. I've spent a fortune on toys for my wife and she always goes back to this one. For the price, even if your GF doesn't like it, you haven't lost much. Hope this helps.

When picking a toy it really just comes down to personal preference. What may work for one person, wont for another... as with just about everything else in life:D. What type of vibe are you wanting... clitoral, vaginal, anal, G spot, or something that stimulates multiple areas at once? What kind have you tried, and what was it she didn't like about them?

The butterfly kiss that buck naked suggested is a good toy. I haven't gotten around to trying it yet, but I sell them & have had some really good customer feedback for it.:D

Felt weird? Perhaps you weren't employing them correctly. Whatever.

Yes, toys are very nice but I have found them not nearly as much fun as a man. I have only the one, a clitoral stimulator which is used externally. It is just a small thing to be used with a bit of moisture on its head.

Other than that, I use The Program which tends to totally involve my partner(s) in the sexual experience. Granted it takes time to do the entire thing but then - sex is worth taking your time over - don't you agree?

so for me - a bottle of edible scented oil is the best 'toy' ever.
The Program is a sticky post found elsewhere on this site.

Look with her, or if you want to surprise her look at the online catalogues and see which ones she would be interested in, no one knows what she likes better than her. Ask her what she did and didn't like about the toys you bought and use that to find one she would like. and finally, she might just not enjoy the idea of a toy, she might think "why would I need a toy when I have you" I think EEK has put it best when she said men make the best toys, or something along those lines (I’m too lazy to find the exact quote)

My favorite toy is an old cologne bottle that my aunt gave me as a present when I was sixteen. I have never felt the need to collect toys. Perhaps the best idea is to let her choose. Does she have you choose her tampons?

Still somewhat confused

Thanks for your suggestions everyone,
I will try and get some of the toys you suggested,
as for taking her to a store to browse, she will not go into these stores (maybe she thinks that someone is judging her)

do you think a porno tape could help us? Maybe it will relax her a little and make her more comfortable with the whole thing.

if so, which one should I get?

There are many studios that gear towards women. Femme Productions comes to mind. You might want to start with something like that. Or even start with something with a sofe core rating.

If she is uncomfortable with those stores, maybe she could have toy party. Most of them are very informative about the toys they carry, that's what I do for a living:p. Most of the women that I have met are more comfortable with having a toy party, than going to a store.
