Try putting your hand on her mound...then run your fingers between the labia it should be about 1/2-1 inch down. You should be feeling a slight bump. Might be easier if you just ask her.

Away from the mound follow the split, the v in the lips, in the labial folds (majora) and its about 1/2-1 inch down. If you follow the labia minora the clitoral hood should be the same distance upwards though. And as I said it should feel like a small bump, ovalish...
