I read a lot of these threads about penis sizes and scientific research found the "averege size" to be 5-6.5 inches long. With following post by dancingdoc, I notice he did mentioned that ethnicity places a factor in with the size of ones penis. I was wondering if what the surveys done are actually accurate or not ?

What survey's rarely mention...

No one actually cared.
No one actually cared.
"Toyota Cares"....... Lol sorry Sera its kind of a New Zealand thing..
comes from a TV advertisment... So instead of saying "I don't care" ...
alot of people will say.. "I will give you 20cents go Ring Toyota" lol:D
No one actually cared.
Then why post something if you don't have anything educated to say/.
I believe Sera's point is that she, and probably most women, doesn't care. Read all the posts. Preoccupation with penis size mainly a male thing. If women are going to repeat again and again that quality is preferable to quantity and that in most cases they want something in the mid range-not tiny not huge, but there are those who appreciate extremes too- I for one am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and NOT bother them with questions about penis size.
> I was wondering if what the surveys done are actually accurate or not ?
It seems to me that the answer lies in who is doing the measuring. If the measuring is being done as part of a clinical study then I'd say the information is accurate.
If the measuring is being done individual and then submitted to some study then "results may vary" as the warning label states.

Because it was about as insightful as your new penis thread. Read the old ones, there are many, try an advanced search. Not many wish to sit and compare size based than comment on ethnicity. If you have such an interest why create a new thread? Just tack on to the bragging lines of those who choose to post their size. My comment was intended to state "it does not matter; try reading the other threads first". The thread is there for men who have questions regarding their penis size. Understand?
Yes, Dlb you are very correct! It's as if more threads are beginning on the same topic of "who is bigger than the other" when women do not care...all we do care is you know how to use it. Asking a woman what size is best; the answer would be another question such as "do you know how to use it"?
Nutty; I'll check w/Toyota! :) They may lock me up for giving them a ring on that one!
There are many sources which can be checked if there is doubt in the validity of the information v. beginning a "new penis size" chat thread if you are seeking informative responses. If the intent was just to raise a question why not pm him? Or add on to an existing link?
The length of a penis for a man and breast size for a woman. As a small woman, cup size, it wasn't until I liked me that I didn't really care. And yes it is the skill of the owner, rather than his penis size that, I think thru girl talk, are what most girls are truly impressed by.
5 or 6 inches and skill vs 9 or 10 inches and a wham bam thank you? I'll take the skill every time.
To answer the question, it is a general thing that 'average size' changes with ethnicity, sure it does to a degree. And there are some surveys out there that give different sizes for different ethnicities. But since it isn't mentioned in the ones on the site, they wouldn't have taken it into account, average is average across a large, random group of people.
I truly like the insight you women give out on this sight, if it weren't so early I would elaborate on something novel. :p
Yeah - ethnicity places a huge role ---- NOT!
And if you had been with as many naked men as I have - you'd know this.
It's so beyond me why people need to talk about this. Who gives a * how big or small it is? I don't. Who gives a * how big or small my bust is? The only time I do is when I'm shopping for a piece of clothing that's best suited to a specific bust size in order to look the best on the woman. I'm not going to wear a garment that's specifically meant to look its best on a bust bigger than mine. You know what? That loss belongs to the store selling the garment. At the end of the day I'm me and I'm the only one who has to be happy with my chest. He's him and I really see no point in knowing down to the centimeter how big his piece is.
I am not certain where these thoughts come from...anyways, ladies...in keeping with the spirit of Brandye's thoughts of hijacking the next penis size thread about a year ago...we shall change the topic to "boobs". Mine are fine...hope all yours are as well since, well, it is SO damned interesting....NOT!
I am sorry--I cannot control being a tad sarcastic on this...
"boobs". Mine are fine...hope all yours are as well since, well, it is SO damned interesting....NOT!
Im so happy yours are fine Sera....:D mine are tender (lol that time of the month lol):p
Keeping in the spirit of the thread...with the exception of a scar from a lumpectomy; be happy yours are sore due to the time of the month...LOL! Menopause has benefits and draw backs! I would gladly trade any time to be back to the previous state of normalcy! Gee, I never would have thought that one wishing I had a cycle and full hormones! LOL!

I used to feel the same! Hurry up and shut off the unnecessary options! Now, wishing those days were back! Don't rush it!
mmmm I wonder just how many naked men EvilEvilKitten has seen?:p
Ask her--she might just tell you!
EvilEvilKitten.. How many naked men have you seen?
lol:D:p;)
Sera and Nutty, having had my oven removed ( as I say ) 15 years ago, the good days are ahead. Never really had to deal with menopause afterwards, I was only 32 then, but the monthly visits were way more than even I could handle. Don't miss them, never missed them and never will. One of the best decisions I ever made, and everytime I walk up the aisle with the tampons and pads in them I smile, I don't have to pick one out....just keep on walking!

You may be re-thinking the whole situation! LOL! Or seeking hormones!
speaking of boobies... I am well endowed for my small frame, and I see it as more of a curse than a good thing..especially since I have been an athlete all through school and college, so they have been something of a hindrence. However, I am lately trying to appreciate them, and enjoy them for what they are. My best friends mother recently died of breast cancer, and since finding out that she is nearly certain to have the cancer gene has decided that she will get a masectomy to protect herself right after she has finished breast feeding her future children. She has lovely boobs in my opinion so it really is a shame, but certainly worth doing if its going to keep her healthy. So I basically just wanted to say...cherish your boobie ladies, be they large, small, saggy, perky, lopsided or whatever...they are beautiful and be glad you have them no matter what they look like..things could always be worse..
( I figured this would be a good way to seal the deal with the whole hijacking of the penis discussion thing.. plus its just been on my mind)
Raez;
So you know some studies have shown that despite the mastectomy with the CA gene; it tends to grow closer to the chest wall...might want to tell your friend. Enjoy the fact you are well endowed...your clothes fit better!
Thanks for the hijack, ladies. I love listening to, or reading, women talking about boobs:D
Actually Sera, it was something I had read awhile back and mentioned to her, though I don't really know much about the whole thing. However, apparently she has looked into it quite a bit, and talked to a few different doctors, and hasn't found enough support to make her change her mind...something about the odds of getting it with vs without masectomy and a couple other things she found wrong with some of the studies she knows about. I wish I knew the details so that I could share them, but when we had the discussion things were kind of emotional due to multiple factors, so the facts and statistics are pretty fuzzy. Either way, I imagine its a hard thing to think about, a risky decision either way.
Oh and though I definitely know how women with small breasts have a hard time finding clothes that fit right...being large is equally difficult. I have a heck of a time finding shirts that fit me in the bust as well as in the shoulders and ribs. Anything that buttons down the front, i can pretty much forget because any size that fits the rest of me, pops open around the buttons..not flattering at all. The styles of shirts that will work on me are fairly limited. Also it is hard finding cute and sexy bras that fit me. Most bras made in my size look like old-lady bras. I'm certainly not able to buy any of the lingerie at victoria's secret. And that sad thing is that i'm not abnormally large. It seems like if you aren't a size B-C you are pretty much screwed as far as clothes go. Which is quite ridiculous really.
Raez;
I know years ago some women who followed the same path...the school of thought was go for the radical mastectomy. They did just to find the cancer settled into tissue which remained or went into the chest wall. Looking through much of what has happened; at least if they kept their breast tissue intact they would be able to go for the lumpectomy. My personal & medical observations have been early detection, very frequent exams and specialized testing. One woman later found her daughter had the gene, a very atypical finding due to her age and ethnic background. Her daughter has done find with all screening and has been able to avoid any radical measures. I do wish your friend the best of luck!
I guess you have the opposite end of the spectrum with chest size! My greatest gripe is bathing suits! Have to buy the mix and match tops & bottoms! Loose weight and you get gaps in your bras! LOL!
Thanks for your insight Sera, It is something I would like her to think more about..I think that despite what she says her research into it has led her to believe, I think her emotions about it are really having the most impact into her decision. In her mother's case, the cancer was detected quite early, when my friend was a kid. The first time it was found, it was treated and went into remission, only to pop up again a few years later. This happened several times, it was a constant merry-go-round of sickness and health and the hopes of her getting to live her full life. Early detection, regular check ups and screenings worked for awhile, but in the end did not save her. Knowing this and thinking back on a conversation we had, I think my friend is more afraid of having to go through those years of battling it just like her mother did, where they all thought "hey, shes beaten it" only to keep finding out she hadn't and each time having their hopes crushed. I think she feels that trying to keep an eye on it isn't going to work for her either, so she is more inclined to try another method..despite the risks of doing so. I understand if this is how she feels, but I do want her to weigh all her options and think it through rationally.
Swim suits are the worst! I have noticed mix and match styles are becoming easier to find and in a wider variety of styels though than they were like 8 years ago, so thats nice.
Raez;
Has she been seen by any of the larger medical centers which are renowned for breast care, prevention, & treatment? Perhaps as time goes on there will be good medical information & advances. My ex-fiance's mom went through about 20 years of on & off again treatment which ultimately ended in her demise secondary to the cancer. She did quite the battle though.
She hasn't been to a renowned breast care medical center as you say, but I certainly think that it would be a good idea in the near future. Most of the professionals she has talked to have been her mother and aunts oncologists and a few others with siginficant experience in dealing with cancer, however they have all been limited to the surrounding area. I'm sure in other parts of the country, possibly even not extremely far from here there are better places for her to go and get more advice and input.
Watching someone go through cancer is such an awful thing, given how much damage the treatment alone does. 20 years is an awfully long time to go through it, I'm sure it was very difficult on her and your ex-fiance. Medicine and treatments are continuing to get better though. I don't think breast cancer, although still very scary, is still considered the death-sentence it was years ago. Perhaps even in the next ten years the risk could go down significantly.
Raez;
Hopefully when she is in a good spot she will look all options based on outcomes. If you ever want the names of a few around this state...PM me.
Encourage her to get to someone who is large at least for an opinion.
It was tough on him & the whole family, I give her so much credit for being "sick" for so long [however not always really sick], she even had returned to teaching, travel, and hiking! In all honesty, she lived a good life span...passed away in her late 60's, they all went on a trip together spouses and all since she knew. Figure, she was 46 when she was diagnosed, all the treatments, and from what his dad told me, she had many years of recurrent remissions and did well during them. I do know his sister has tested positive for the gene so she has followed up w/the same place her mom had gone.
I do hope they find the answer some day...and hopefully women do make a point to check themselves & get the proper screening done!
