Hey everyone. I am considering the possibility of engaging in anal sex with my boyfriend again in the near future. Well, with this, I am also considering what kind of lubricant to get and so I thought I'd ask for suggestions. I would personally prefer one of the numbing types of lubricants but I am afraid that if I used that, it'd numb him as well and neither of us would enjoy the activity. So really, I have two questions.

Anything that numbs one partner, numbs the other. Using an anaesthetic places you at more risk because the pain is a warning. Condoms should ALWAYS be used with anal sex to keep him from getting urethral infections.

Oh okay. I will try and make sure that he uses a condom when we do have anal sex then. That said, would a thicker lubricant such as KY Jelly be better for anal sex than a thinner lubricant like Astroglide would be?
