What Kind of Lubricant for BJ?

Hi Everyone,

I need some advice. I have trouble producing enough saliva to keep things slippery with new bf. I know he is very sensitive (allergic) to a lot of chemicals and breaks out easily (even from laundry detergents). Any suggestions on what I could use that would not hurt him the next day! Thanks!

Perhaps he should try some water based lubes for solo mastrubation first and find something that works for him. Good starting places are astroglide, k-y liquid and k-y ultragel.

Supermarket drug departments and pharmacies all carry one or more types of lubricants. Astroglide and K-Y are two well known brands; there are others. These are not all that expensive and are available off the shelf.

If you are not planning to use a condom, then try one of the following:

* Hand or Body lotions (Check label and use those that contain some form of mineral oil. Do not use the "greaseless" types because they tend to be absorbed rapidly and this what you do not want)
* Cooking oil/salad oil (Sesame, Canola, Corn oils in that order)
* a preparation of water and just a few drops of hair conditioner sufficient to make the water slippery. (Prepare a small quantity before each use)

Thanks so much! Any other ideas, please keep adding. I went by the drug store tonight and looked at the ky and astroglide but wondered if he would be allergic. I think I will give that a try. Anybody know if the "warming massage" kind would be too much or irritating?

Probably, at least from the reports I read, these products tend to either be enjoyed or not, the not being that they are irritating. Never tried them myself as they do not appeal to me.

Given the sensitivity background I would recommend only the water based (Surgi-Lube, K-Y) or vegetable oils. Hand and body lotions mostly have aromatics and many have alcohols of various types.

I tried K-Y Warming Liquid and it was a big disaster. The second it got into the urethra, my penis felt like it was burning up! Really quite painful. :( Fortunately a thorough washing made me good as new again.

I've read some other similar accounts about this product ... one guy's doctor said it looked like the penis had actually suffered minor burns.

Still, I have a 98% unused bottle of this stuff in the closet. It's kinda fun to spread it on the back of your hand and blow air over it.

Wow! I'll stay away from that one! Thanks!
