Okay, you know how us girls get to have the wonderful expirience of pap smears and such at our yearly physicals? what happens with guys? like what exactly does a doctor do to them? I dont know if this is the right board, and if not , im sorry.

He is right, thanks for catching that. That has only happened to me once, i suppose that is why it skipped my mind.
Generally what happens is the man exposes himself to the doctor. He will feel his balls just a very little to check for abnormal bumps. He only does this for like 1 or 2 seconds, barely enough to make it noticable. Then he takes his index finger and sticks it in the are above one of his testicals and reaches up in a little ways, asks him to turn his head and cough, and then repeats for the other side.
Now to get checked for an STD they take a Q-Tip and stick it down his penis!
I recently learned what is used in PAP to help make an opening and, OUCH!

Uhhhhh oberon,,,2 things about that...first...we get very very disturbed when the doc is telling us he's doing a prostate a exam and BOTH HIS HANDS ARE ON OUR SHOULDERS!!!:eek: :eek: and the second thing that can lead to a nightmare...is that WE might just ENJOY it !! LOL

The last time I experienced the testicular cancer test, it was more like 15-20 seconds. I was sore for a couple of days after that.
The q-tip down the penis is not always used. My friend told me he experienced that when he got tested at the beginning of the relationship with the woman he's since married. When I went to get tested, I was prepared for the worst, but they just had me give a urine sample for chlamidya and gohnorrhea tests. I was relieved!
