My girlfriend gave me oral the other night, and I was the one to clean up (she was in the bathroom cleaning her mouth, she didn't like it. =P). I'm pretty sure I didn't get any on my hands, as I used a towel, but assuming I did, I wiped everything dry...
Later on (a few hours), I was fingering her. If semen did indeed get on my hands, and was wiped off, but not washed, what are the odds any swimmers were left?
I know that this seems kind of paranoid, but we both are somewhat paranoid people....
Side question: Why can't a guy get morning-after-pills for his girlfriend at the health department?

Plan "B" what everyone here is calling the MAP was approved FEDERALLY months ago for over the counter sale for women over the age of 18, under 18 requires a prescription from a doc. Over the counter means without a prescription, not sitting in an isle, it's available in the pharmacy. One needs to sign for it much like a box of Sudafed regardless of age. ALL meds in the pharmacy require a pharmacist to offer counseling to a patient, it's just the pharmacies have become lazy about offering counseling. Next time you pick up a script look at the line you sign refusing counseling, this is why you get your meds and walk out the door. This is not something new being offered by each individual state.
Try Here
I am not sure about getting the MAP. My guess would be that the DR or RPH would need to ask the girl some questions maybe regarding health issues... if they have any underlying medical concerns, medications they might be taking.. etc.
Did you try going to get one and they wouldn't give it to you??? or are you just guessing this?
Nope I tried. Went to the health department, and a few pharmacies.
So basically, since there wasn't the rest of the semen, any swimmers that were stuck on there would have died off by then... that makes me feel better...:D
Well didn't they tell you why they couldn't give you the MAP?
Like I said.. they would probably need to consult the person actually TAKING the pill... not her b/f.
Why couldn't your g/f go?
All the article I see say that it can be sold w/out a prescription to women over 18 and only by prescription for women under 18.
I have never bought one... but it's probably like buying beer or cigs... gotta show your ID :)
Nope, and she couldn't go because of the crazy parents. I had to go...
I'm thinking maybe because the things cost thirty dollars a piece... giving them to a guy for free... he might go sell them..
who knows...
How old is your g/f???
You've mentioned the "crazy parents" several times.
I mean is she never able to leave the house??
All you have to say is that you are going to the mall.. or the movies or something... and run by a clinic.
I think it's b/c they aren't just going to give a regulated drug to someone that it's not even for. They would need to actually speak to your g/f like I said above.. to give a consult to see if it's ok that she take it and what side effects to expect...etc.... not have all this info relayed from one person to another. Plus, I think not ALL states provide them over the counter????
Altho, I do remember reading in a thread one time where a guy said he had ran to the drug store to get his g/f a MAP... but I think he lived in England.

That's affirmative. I have to sneak in. She doesn't want to piss them off, because they are paying for her college... And I quite agree with her decision there.

See above.

If consultation was necessary, it wouldn't be sold OTC at a pharmacy. And my state does.

Possible
Scary!!
she's 18! geesh
I am sure Brandye or Sera can clear up the MAP question.
I mean even though it's OTC... it's still regulated and not sold to minors. They don't know if you are buying it to give to your 15 or 16 yr old g/f... you know?
Yep, see what I mean by crazy? lol.
But I think the rest of it is okay... thanks for the article. =)
No problem....
just watch yourself.. sneaking in?!? you'll get busted one of the days...and who knows.. they might kill you for sure!!! :) lol
But hey.. don't worry :) lol just be careful... in all aspects! b/c if something happens that you really DO need a MAP and she can't leave the house?!? then what will you do?
Steal it... =P j/k No, if we really did need it, we would be calling everyone we know... x_x
Okay you have to get her out of the house, go for a damned walk. Second choice, have a female friend who is 18 buy it. Third, have her call the pharmacy where her prescriptions are filled and TALK to the pharmacist on the phone (they need to identify her age and if she has filled there prior they will see her DOB--date of birth) PHONE CONSULT. You take her ID and go to the pharmacy and pick it up for her. She is a damned adult, she needs to walk out and take care of her physical needs. You still have a month and half until college starts, parents will get over it in that time. Or have a girlfriend pick her up and take her out for a chat...go to the pharmacy. If none of the above works she needs to call her GYN and explain or even her general practitioner and explain PSYCHO parents, let them call in a RX for another med which will do the same or a RX for BCP's (specific types) which can be used for the same purpose. You pick them up and drop them off.
Or call her doc in the am, fake an illness, when in the office explain the truth, the doc will not disclose any info to parents, fill the script.
Or sneak her out the window at night when you would be there go to a 24 hour pharmacy.
Before this look for a small pharmacy, not a chain locally, you try to get it. Then you try a chain if this fails, hopefully they are too busy and miss it... the counseling. Don't ask them questions, don't ask if they can do it, look for a place where the girl at the register maybe young, look confident.
Get on-line ASAP if nothing works and try a mail order pharmacy. SHe needs to send in photo ID (IN most cases) you fax this or scan it in, have it fed ex to you overnight priority. Or try here:http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=161395&aid=336064&aparam=...
If none of the above are viable options, pray for the best.
Chances are slim to cause a pregnancy, you need to decide if all is well in the world here. If men could randomly obtain it it could be sold on the "black market" to those uder age. I re-read you post. I thought you both felt you needed it and could not get it. But keep this for future use.
What state are you in?????
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh woe me!! If you CAN'T afford to pay...why bother in PLAYING!!
the morning after pill was only recently approved for over the counter use in my home state.
most of the time they require the girl to get it prescribed to her by a doctor, or at the very least talk to her pharmacist. basically, they wont give it to a girl if she has not physically talked to a professional about it. its sort of like a safety precaution and thats why guy's can't get it for someone else.

Umm, I never said I couldn't pay it, ass hole. I said I couldn't get it. They won't sell it to me.
I would say the chances are very slim since it was a few hours later that you fingered her.
