ok so my gf has a lump just on the inside of her vagina just above the entrance. she has had one before but it went away. it isnt a pimple but it is very big and painful even when she is sitting down. its come back up in the exact same place as the last one. its like cyst, please if anyone knows what it is please let us know

Probability it is a cyst, she needs to go and see her gyn ASAP so she can get it treated. It's important that she sees the doc while they symptoms are there.
ok well its that time of the month for her, so will they do any tests while she has her period?
It does not make a difference if she has her period. The doc just has to take a look and see what's happening. Then they may choose to prescribe an antibiotic and wait a few days or to treat it then & there. A lot depends on where exactly it's located, the size, redness, etc.
