Ok, so im 19 and im a pretty heavy guy. 270 lbs to be exact... and im not really proud of my penis size. in fact, im kinda embarrased about it. Now, what srikes me is that when me and my gf are having sex, it is the normal erect size. but once its all over, i go back to being small again (less than 4 inches)
Now my question is whether my weight is a factor in all of this.
Could it be that because of my fat, it doesnt show as much when not aroused?
could my fat basically be taking a couple of inches off of the appearance? If so, will my slimming down show more length?
its like, i cant even get myself to shower with my gf. She always says "i wont think any less of you" but i cant help but be self conscious.
this may sound weird, but i figured if i could ask anyone, it would be you guys.
any thoughts?

Dude for what its worth lay on your back and let gravity do its thing. I was in your position long ago and with my spare baggage covering my tool it was very difficult to even see the damn thing let alone use it! I did discover that laying on my back gravity would pull everything down flat and allow enough of my penis to make the connection.
Been there done that

Again I couldn't really say about your weight, what I can say is guys really do over estimate their penis size by as much as 3 inches, average hard is 4 to 5 inches if you look that up on the ruler you will realise that isn't short at all. Plus a womens cervex is only 4-5 inchs long so you wouldn't want to be any bigger.
My boyfriend is a little over average when hard and much smaller when floppy, but it doesn't matter as he certainly knows how to use it. most importantly if your g/f loves you it won't matter, you just need to get more confidence about yourself
Hey.
I wouldn't know about your weight specific problems, though I used to be quite large, but I'm very small when flaccid but supposedly 'above average' when hard. (According to my g/f. she may just be humouring me.
)
As a former overweight person myself I can totally understand your problems with one's physical appearence. I wouldn't worry though, there is a lot of diet infomation around on the net if you want to loose the weight, but the best I can offer is find something active that really inspires you. I lost it through becoming interested in kayaking and mountain biking. It just takes time and will-power and there are no easy answers. And eating salad.
As for the growing thing, I feel that it is more visually impressive.
I also had some fairly major psychological hang-ups (performance related though) when I first got with my girlfriend, but if you can become comfortable with it, then hey... whats the problem. Most things are largely psychological.
Yes, if you lose weight, your penis and its useable area will grow. Basically, the lower belly is full of fat (I have that issue too) and by losing weight, you will trim up there and show more of the "root" of your penis. Expect to gain about an inch erect and 1/2 to 3/4" when soft. Also, when you lose that weight, you will be able to insert more of it in your partner.
Don't worry!!! The average is about 3in +/- when it's not hard.. that puts you above average if it makes you feel better
Regardless, you might want to start letting go of whatever porn imagery that you have stuck in your head about what's normal. If your girlfriend knows more about you than most anyone in the world and she wants more, doesn't that tell you something?
Also,
some men are "growers not showers" as they'll sometimes say.
They just have a small flaccid length, which really can't determine erect length.
Some guys maybe be 2 inches flaccid but triple in size. Some might look big at 5 inches flaccid but only grow one more inch.
Ok a few things i have to say.
1. as almost everyone who has good experince and those who listen to them say "Its not the size its how you use it."
2. I get the idea sorta of where your coming from... *Is 15 years old and weighs over 210* and I have heard a bit about hot the fat in that area can cover arond the base of the penis and hide a bit of it. When they do the sugery one method they use is to cut the fat from that area, making it look longer by showing more, and then add it to the top. Thus making it longer overall.
3. Weight does not actually affect your size but like i said it can cover a bit of the base and make it look shorter.
So theres some anwsers. I hope i got your question right and that this helps.
