I was wondering if wax would be save for anal play? i am kinda getting into it and i dont want to buy a toy, but make one. i was thinking something along the lines of wax, souch as a carved out candle or something like that. just wondering if this is safe? if anyone has any other ideas for somthing around the house than im all for it. thanks for the info :)

Your behind is pretty tight, so I would say that wax (while it wouldn't cause any harm in itself) would not be a good idea since it could break off and then...well, things tend to travel upwards back there. That's why plugs and toys made for anal play are flared at the base or have some kind of handle or cord. I wouldn't recommend making your own anal toy, but buy one that is safe...JMHO.
To speak the truth I have never been comfortable with the wax, well I am not talking about the specific problems that can be caused by it but the toys are far better alternative than this substance. I am sure you are going to get many other alternatives by the means of sex toys that can aid you in the anal pleasure, so look for this.
I agree with you, there could be so many complications especially if you engage yourself in gay sex.

and know where the nearest e.r. is in cas you need something removed.
I say its a HORRIBLE idea! Your body is warm, the wax could melt a bit! And like others said, it could easily break.
Buy a butt plug ;).
