I'd be inclined to see if there's anything I didn't already know, WSO. But the link you gave seems to have been updated with different stories.

an updated link that takes you to proper radio show.
Sorry.
That progam is silly. A feminist radio producer tries to fit men's sexuality into her narrow preconceptions.
I've seen a great deal more knowledgeable and realistic insights into pay-for-play from both women and men.
We all have this conception in our heads that only mature men and women are in this game - NOT TRUE!
Not when 10 year olds are being walked around and hawked on the streets by their 14 old sister.
You want the truth? Can you all handle it? Take a look listen to this:

Prsotitution is NOT all "fun - n- games". And let's stop giving "men's sexuality" the free ride "boys will be boys".
I agree totally with EEK.
However, I think that a properly regulated industry will be better for everyone, though obviously not some sort of Nirvana.
As discussed on another board, child molestation is child molestation no matter how you slice (be it marrying 10 year olds to 40 year olds or having them in brothels, legally, semi legally or otherwise). It is unacceptable. Period.
That being said, where I come from, child prostitution occurs, is relatively rare, is not tolerated and the regular prostitution scene is reasonably civilized (with its usual downsides) on the whole. It's that scene that is discussed in the podcast link I posted.
It is nothing like what is discussed in the video EEK has shared with us (or else that's the biggest cover-up I've ever heard of, where the heck would they put all the bodies?).
As for men getting a free ride? Heck, it's never free. You always gotta pay the piper somehow.
Furthermore, I think that this podcast, as well as the study it refers to is useful. Why? Because it tells us something about the men involved in prostitution and when, o when, do we ever hear about them?
A sad podcast.
The scene depends upon where you are and how much you're willing to pay. Children and teens are kidnapped and run as living sex toys even in the US (true story btw). A teenage girl was being run as a cheap whore by another kid in her high school - because she feared telling her Catholic parents that she'd been raped by this kid who threatened to tell the entire school that she'd fucked him. Eventually the story came out and those involved properly dealt with. Yes it is not a pretty world.
Be advised that not all sex workers are prostitutes. For example: the dominatrices don't have sex with you for money, they beat you up for money or send you nasty notes/ims/whatever for money - but no sex. You're not worthy. So while they are sex workers, they aren't prostitutes. "Have whip will travel".
Frankly, I prefer the Lifestyle - just ordinary people making friendships between the sheets and all for fun. Its is much more civilized.
