With a virgin (Hymen questions)

Hey, I have never been with a virgin before so I have a couple questions. Also she hasn't gone any further than making out with anyone. Were both 17. Firstly does this mean she most likely has her hymen still? And what complications does this arise lol. I wanna go down on her, but will her hymen make this much harder to do? Anything you can tell me would help. Thanks

it shouldn't effect anything i would have thought weather she has it or not, if she's fair active and takes part in a lot of sport it is likley she wont have it anymore. i think it only really effect anything when you go to have sex and then it depends what happens, it could bleed, or she could find it sore, or it may not effect her at all.

I suggest doing a GOOGLE search in order to bring up illustrations of the female anatomy for you to become familiar with.

The hymen is located at and just inside the vaginal opening.
It can take many forms from partially to completely blocking the opening.
A hymen may or may not have one or more holes in the membrane

As noted, above, a very active person may have already torn the hymen from physical activities, or using Tampons. As Brandye has stated, very often it will erode away by the time a girl reaches her teens.

Oral stimulation is all about the Vulva and its various pieces-parts. Lips, mouth, and tongue can explore and stimulate her body beginning with the Mons, the channel between the outer lips of the upper Vulva, the inner lips, and the vaginal opening--outside and just inside. I believe it goes without saying that the person expecting to receive oral stimulation, should bathe prior to making love. Guys! this means you, too.

The opening is richly endowed with very sensitive nerve endings that react to fingers and tongue, particularly the more turned on the person is; therefore it is not required to go inside. Besides, your tongue can't stick out very far anyway. The Hymen will not hinder oral sex, whether it is present or not.

Later, with some familiarity, this might also include caressing the outside of the anus with the lips and tongue.

If you have not already read the articles about making out, please go to the Index, and read up not only on this but also the how-to of oral. This should be a must do for the two of you.

Regardless of whether a person is new to making out, or has some experience, never just go down on her without some preparation and "work up"--or down as the case may be. Be certain this is something she wants to do and is looking forward to, also, before going there and doing that. Discuss the matter beforehand.

I am reminded of a post several years ago on another site in which this boy wrote in and was just beside himself because he thought she wanted oral sex, so somewhere in all the proceedings he decided to spread her legs and bury his head between them. She retaliated and resisted! Why?

Turns out she was interested, yet his approach was all wrong. Instead of briskly and brashly exposing her by parting her legs and then nuzzling in, she wanted and expected some build-up to this. So, before proceeding with the actual act of oral stimulation, work up or work down with your fingers, lips, and tongue, from other areas, in order to create expectation, excitement, and to reduce any timidness and anxiety.

Hold off on initiating oral stimulation until she has become fully aroused and is at the plateau of her response curve (read: about at the trigger point of an orgasm).

Building upon the preceding caresses is the way to continue increasing excitement and sexual tension and not interrupt the flow of things. Once your fingers have begun to explore between her legs, you will no doubt find ready and easy access for your lips, tongue, and face to follow.

Understand that whether you are fingering her or caressing her orally, at some point her clitoris may very likely become too sensitive to touch any longer. Do not dispair for there is a solution. The cause of the hyper-sensitivity is due to a release of a chemical in the brain and is a natural reaction to a person becoming extremely turned on. For the female of the species this happens just prior to an orgasm. For the male, just after. In both cases, the condition only lasts a short time.

In her case, the solution for continued foreplay is to switch tactics and go to indirect stimulation. This is accomplished by folding the inner labia over the clitoris and working with it through the lips; massaging one or both inner labia and involving the clitoris indirectly; third, by rubbing the shaft of the clitoris that is buried beneath the folds of the upper Vulva.

This should be enough to get you started. Good luck.

Most women by 17 have only a few shreds of the hymen remaining. Those that have it intact will likely feel a bit of a tear that usually lasts briefly and gives off a few drops of blood. In exceptional cases of a very tough hymen, it could get very uncomfortable for her. Sometimes a doctor needs to help with this.
Few tongues ever encounter a hymen. The desireable place for that is on the outside.
