Vibrator first??

Ok. I have a question. I am new to sex. My boyfriend and I are both virgins. I brought a vibrator a few months ago. I was wondering since I can place the whole vibrator in my vagina (its about 7 inches long and 4 inches wide) without pain, is it a possibility that our first time won't be as painful since I can take in the vibrator? We are planning on having sex for the first time this weekend.

Welcome to the SI101 Board and its Forums. I hope you enjoy participating. Please begin by familiarizing yourself with the FAQs, the Posting Guidelines section, and especially the Index, all found at the top of the main screen. The Index contains links to helpful informative insightful as well as how-to articles such as the following:

What Can I/We Do To Prepare For First Time Intercourse?

The answer to your question is "maybe". Maybe, if your boyfriend is gentle and you are relaxed. Maybe, if you are well lubricated either from your natural mucus and/or a lubricant in addition. It is important to spread the lube around the entrance of the vagina as well as his condom. (Do not use a lubricated condom, instead, apply some K-Y, or Astroglide, etc.)

It is important that the penis gently penetrate the entrance--NO shoving, poking, or jabbing. Please read the article on all this listed in the Index.

Many of us recommend the Woman Superior or "Cowgirl" position for the first few times because it places you in complete control. You know where P & V are and can deftly bring the two together saving him som possible angst and embarrassment. In addition, you can apply just the right amount of pressure and at an angle that suits you. This done, you can then insert his penis as fast and as far as you like and begin stroking similarly with deep strokes or shallow ones as fast or as slow as you want.

You can learn more by going to the site's Home Page and looking at the animated and illustrated sexual positions.

I hope this is of help. Got questions?

For many women there is no or very little pain involved the first time. With this prep, you should have no trouble.
