I am not much into toys but can comment on glass dildoes. All my life my favorite toy has been a cologne bottle that was given me, full, on my 16th birthday. Glass is certainly the most hygienic of the substances you can be using. On the downside, it is hard and rigid. There is nothing that actually feels REAL. Or at least nothing that fits in you with a man attached.
I recommend that anything being put in you (menstural cup, diaphragm, toys) get an occasional vinegar soak.

I have posted this once before (not sure where) and although similar it is not the same but read into it what you may; I once used "desert" on my wife as a sex toy...it was a large banana that hed been dipped into chocolate and then put onto a skewer and put into the freezer for a few hours till frozen solid.
