I never smell like fish, but I DO smell a bit icky right after my period, and sort of sour/acidic before my period. Is your discharged a weird colour or anything? Best thing to do is see a doctor about it though...and if you're boyfriend says something like that you need a better man thats so insensitive! :mad:

We all smell and the smell varies by the time of month and get stronger during the day. Good cleansing at least twice day generally keeps it within acceptable bounds. Unless it is really foul (indicating infection), nothing more to do than keep clean and change panties as necessary.

The acid smell comes from urine; the fishy from the accumulation of all the stuff that passes through various holes down there and the flowers, ........ I wish mine smelled that way.

I wouldn't mind smelling like flowers too. For me, it is more a vanilla or caramel smell, faint but not unpleasant at all. As for a boyfriend telling you you stink... if you are washing twice a day, wear clean underwear and are in good health, he's either not aware of how women are supposed to smell or he is just being a jerk.
