I have noticed in other forums that many guys (including myself) find a great looking vagina at or near the top of our lists as things we notice on a girl (almost always above breasts). I became curious in many aspects of this. Is this something that links with shaving? When I picture a great looking vagina, it is always smooth. I also rank how they look compared to other personal experiences (I even have a ranking system of my personal experiences). Do other guys do this? Do girls pay attention to other girl's vaginas in the locker room or eslewhere? I ask that because women think breasts are at the top of our lists when they really arent but vagina attractiveness tends to be. Do girls compare (in their minds) or get envious of a girl she thinks has a better looking vagina than her? Many women say they compare breasts, but thats what you all think we pay attention to, when we really want to focus on how your vagina looks. What are everyone's thoughts?

Vagina attraction

I do not make a point of looking at other's, nor do I care what other women look like. I never gave it a thought until you mentioned it, and rest assured I still will not--after all I am not out there on pussy patrol.
I love all vaginas. Hairy as hell, bald, lips out, lips in. They ALL are awesome!
I love vagina! The look, feel, smell, taste. It's all good!
You cannot even see the vagina without a speculum. It is an interior organ.
Now, you are talking about the pudenda or the vulva. I pay no attention in locker rooms or wherever. In my exam room, the position and purpose is such that atrractiveness is not of interest.

Whatever! I LOVE them! LOL! You know what I meant!

Maybe I knew what you meant but that does not reduce the wrong use of the word. We need specificity when we ae talking about body parts.
Has your name changed since the original post?

??? Name's the same. As for the specifics....
no, this moron keeps posting. I used the term vagina as an overall term. In overall terms what do we all call that area? Vagina? Pussy? Or worse? I steered away from "pussy" because some people get offended by it, though I use the word myself more than calling the whole area "vagina." That is all I meant by using that term. I suppose people in the medicinal field will take the term literally so I apologize. I guess my overall point is, women all think we notice breasts before the look of their labias. But size doesn't matter to us in breasts, but the look of the labais and pruning down there does. Basically the breasts to women are more of an ego thing like penis size is to men.
I think many times (especially here in the US) we use the wrong terms for body parts! If I ever asked a patient to change into a dressing gown b/c their pudenda or vulva needed to be examined, they would have no clue! Many times it's more understood to say vagina. I remember when I first began in the ER. I gave a gentleman a specimen cup and asked him to void in it. He had no clue what void was, I asked him to urinate in the cup, still no clue. I had to tell him he had to go and "pee/leak" in the cup. He thought I originally wanted a semen specimen! Also countless men have no clue what a penis is, it's a "dick".
Nonetheless, knowing and practicing the proper terms will only help you later in life when you need to explain an issue to someone or you will be a jump ahead in anatomy class!

Well look, Since I can't see the INSIDE of it I call the general VIEWABLE area Vagina. I'm not a med student or a clinical talking guy, I think most of us know what we mean by vagina.
Brandye is just being more clinical than most of us. I shrug it off, I'm not that anal about this. I don't believe most women are either.

I swear only men do this stuff! They are the only ones who obsess over their genitals! How many men make comments to other men about their "members"? Too many!
When is the last time you heard a woman say oh, what a pretty little thing you have, I wish mine looked like that? Meanwhile men make comments about other men...I remember your comment about having a license for that "weapon"! And I have heard other men make comments in the men's room about the size of the guy next to him!

You're right Sera...I feel shame!! LOL
like you said Sera300...I guess women don't say things like that in the locker room to each other. Yes obviously with us guys being external, its always been an easier thing for us to compare. With females, actually having the vagina (just to clerify, the whole area, haha) visible has only been recent with more and more women shaving or pruning so it becomes visible. Obviously when it's covered by hair, there's nothing to look at except very gross pubic hair. But say if a girl is shaved bald down there...technically the area IS external, at least enough to notice. I guess times are changing with the whole shaving phenominon. When I look at a naked girl, my eyes go straight to the vagina (unless there is a full bush in which I refuse to look) to see what it looks like. 20-30 years ago, this never wouldve been the case cause the vagina was never visible. If women don't think about other girls' "set-up" dwon there, do they think or talk about their hair style down there?
Never even thought about the style or the look...or the "decorative/design job". Never glanced at a Brazilian wax or shave job done on a woman.
Professionally, the only things I have taken note of is; why there is a snicker's bar in the vagina, the fact that a hot dog broke off and could not be removed by the patient, that diaphragm jelly is not the same as Smucker's Grape Jelly, or an infected labia/clit piercing. All I could ask was why/how did this happen or did that not hurt? And documented my findings.
Personally, I could not care less if she is shaved, waxed, shaved into a decorative heart (or other design), or natural.
I only have wondered what my partner prefers to see & if it's do able. Honestly, the main reason for keeping the area below "controlled" is we have a high incidence of tick bites around here and it's easier to find a tick or a tick bite on a less furry area.
I am not a doc, just a Nurse Practitioner. But when you see all this "fun" stuff it make you wonder what drives people to do these thing! 20 years in an ER--not much left to see, nothing phases me & not much surprises me. However, no matter what healthcare practitioner's are professionals, we are there to help not to judge. Found out a long time ago, if there is an orifice someone will find a new object to insert.
you are so professional Sera300...haha. Definetely not an area I'd work in. Nice to know that doctors don't really pay attention though. I know girls that when they first go to an OBGYN, they are kinda weary of what the doctor might think. I'd even think that if I had to get a physical...My hair style has changed since my last one back in my days of high school, haha.
yes the technical word is vulva and it don't hurt to speak write correctly, well I've only ever seen one vulva for real (nearly wrote vagina yes I'm guilty too;) )and I loved it. I suppose next thing your gonna go round asking if girls compare depth, yea we males obsess a bit me personally no but so much focus is put on size and other physical attributes when we forget that being a caring lover way outmatches a "big dick"
I like them clean shaven and small. I dislike it when the inner lips are bigger than the outer.
OK, let's stop arguing over the correct terminology here. As for your question...NO, I do not look at other womens "perineal" area,"vagina", "crotch" whatever you wish to call it. and yes, we DO look at breasts. I guess it has been drilled into our heads since the "Barbie" days, that breast size matters.

haha i live in the US had a decent sex ed in high school, and have been to the gyn more times than is normal for my age, and i can honestly say i have NEVER heard the word "pudenda" before :o
