UTI

Well looks like I got it. BEen a few days, was hoping it wuld go away if I drank galons of cranberry juice, took cranberry extract pills and such like last time. No such luck it seems. Yesterday I got pain on both of the sides, more towards the back. It went away with Ibuprophen though. Anwyays, it came back today, so I'm going to the doc tomorrow. I'm just rather terrified. I'm allergic to ampicilin, and don't stand tetrycicline too well. So...if anyone could give some advice or way to calm me somewhat, it would be really really appreciated. *weak smile*

It was YOUR decision to do away with the condom (if you did so).... even if she was asking, YOU should have known better! Whether she liked it better or not, with a previous scare like that I would have thought you would have been more careful with your own health. AND as to your last question... I dont know the answer....however... regardless of whether this is possible or not, regarless of the chances (blah blah blah), if you have come down with chlamidia, you HAVE to inform ALL of your sexual partners (oral or otherwise) of it so that they can get checked by their doctors!!! Brandye is entirely right (and you should show her more respect)... you have no one to blame for this situation but yourself. Period.

And after having said ALL of that... this discussion is extremely off topic... if you have more questions, you should start your own thread...

Honestly, I'm not trying to be a b**ch here, but you need to take responsibility for your actions.
Thank you and goodnight!

Fortunately tests from the doctor showed I had no chlamidya at all. He said it was just a urinary infection, and it eventually healed up. I have a theory of what happened too. 1 or 2 times before me and a girl had sex we experimented with chocolate buttons. We heated them up in the microwave till they were slightly melted and then rubbed them on my penis, whilst I rubbed them on her vagina. We simultaneously licked them off each other. I believe the skin on the genital region must be extremely sensitive to heat, and even a little bit of heat left in the chocolate must have slightly blistered mine, and the girls skin down there. We both got urinary infections from the chocolate (maybe because it contains dairy also) going into our urinary tracts and both caused burning sensations when we urinated.

Thus, MizMinx555 I blame myself for nothing, because no Chlamidya ever occurred.

This time!

no, a chick gave me it. She told me she was free of STIs, and had known of a dude she'd slept with that had had one (chlamydia) but she'd been checked out or good rid of it and then asked to have sex unprotected, saying she liked it better, after I had been using a condom. I have a separate question too: If a STI free chick gives a dude with chlamidya head, and doesn't get the throat infection symptoms, can she still retain the chlamydia, will it spread to her vagina and give her a urinary infection, and will it then be able to be transmitted through vaginal sexual contact again?? Or is the oral sex risk of chlamydia a lot lower?

Slade,

Rephrase that. No one GAVE you chlamydia. You got it through your own behaviour.

I have the same burning urination problem.  Tried drinking heaps of cranberry juice too and a bit of orange juice but still not cured after 7 - 10- days so I'm going to the doctor tomorrow. I have a suspicion a chick may have given me chlamidia!!

lol, i love cranberry juice and have it with my breakfast on weekday mornings

good preventor, but i drink gallons of water anyway just cos i dont like many non-alcoholic drinks so im hoping my system is pretty clean

Fury.. Ive felt your pain.. LOL!

Shy.. LOL! Yeah.. I was thinking.. MALPRACTICE.. saying water would treat that! LOL! Cystitis IS a UTI.. but the etrm is kinda used indiscriminantly for a wide variety of indfections down yonder..

On this subject.. Im gonna go drink some cranberry juice just in case...

No mistake, but i did forget to mention she had antibiotics as well! doh. but the cranberry thing is for sistitus (spelling?) but doctors are the best people to visit

I thoguht for a few days that drinking shitload of cranberry juice, taking cranberry pills, and drinking gallons of water would make it go away...it didn't. It got to my kidenys, and I will tell you...it wasn't fun.
I finally broke down, went to the doc, was put on antibiotics that didn't make me break out in hives or puke all night and day long, and it went away. If only I went then it just started, I wouldn't have suffered for over a week, it would have been gone in 3 days. And while sometimes all the home remedies work, a lot of times they won't.

Her Dr was a nut or your friend was mistaken. a UTI can go to a kidney infection and youre screwed. I can tell you with a kidney infection I dont cafe if you drink a few gallons a day.. you WONT just "flush it out". With a UTI somethimes the urethra gets inflamed.. closes off and you CANT pee.. so what happens to all those litres of water youve drank that have nowhere to go???
I had to have a shunt.. or little tube inserted into my urethra to keep it open so I could pee after a horrendous UTI caused by passing a kidney stone. Even on bactrim that infection got to my kidneys.

A lot of things you can take care of without medical stuff.. but this isnt one Id want to even try. LOL!

Someone at my work had a urine/kindney infection and her doctor said the best thing to do was drink 8 litres of water a day (2 litres is recommended a day for people in good health) as it just flushes out the system and takes the infection with it.

and also the usual rest ect

Ugh.. sounds more like a kidney infection. Do you have a history of Kidney stones? I do.. unfortunately Id be suprised if it was a UTI and the cranberry juice didnt work. Or you could be a dumbass liek me and mistakenly get the "cranberry drink" that was ust cranberry fruit flavored.. LMFAO!

Bactrim,Septra or Septra DS, norfloxacin (Noroxin) and other fluoroquinolones are used for UTIs and I kwo this not only cause I was a nurse forever.. but cause I too am allergic to 'cillins Bactrim and Noroxin are the best in my opinion and have few if any side effects I have noticed. As a side note or FYI ...Some experts say genetics may be the key, since research has shown that women with certain blood antigens (called the Lewis groups) are more susceptible to cystitis. The cells that line their urinary tracts seem to have far more receptors to which bacteria can adhere. Others may lack glycosaminoglycan, a substance found on the surface of the bladder that is inhospitable to bacteria. SO take your pick ... but get a good antibiotic quickly

Best order of season
