The prostate has a valve that switches between allowing urine flow from the bladder and allowing semen flow from within the prostate. It is, normally, an either-or proposition and we women appreciate that. When you do urinate with a firm erection you are forcing things past the valve and some urine is backing up into the part of the prostate not accustomed to handling that. It burns a bit. It is also possible that have a low level infection in the prostate which contributes to the cause and the effect of this. Next trip to the doctor, tell him about it and do a urine test.
I used to have grade 2 kidney reflex when I was a kid but my doctors thought I outgrew it. And I'm not forcing myself to pee it comes out without any effort at all. I guess I'm going back to my doctor. Thanks for your help.
