Unpleasant Vaginal Smell

This past week I have encountered a bit of a problem.
My vaginal area has started smelling, its not due to hygene because I definately shower and bathe that area and keep it clean, but when my boyfriend fingers me we have realised there is a smell that is rather unpleasant. It wasn't always there, only since the past week.

Also, again in this past week, I haven't been able to get as 'wet' as I used to. I used to get dripping wet but now it seems hard to even get wet enough for him to enter me with his penis. I don't know if these could be related, any help would be great.

Time to see a doctor. Need to find out if you have an infection or yeast issue. See one ASAP & no sex until you do.

I thought in a yeast infection you would have burning sensations and itching etc... but I have none of that, it is just a smell, the discharge is normal, no change there either.

it could be a bacterial infection. discharge is not necessarily always present for yeast or bacterial infections.

a bad smell almost always indicates that something is wrong.

Look, the smell is different and a foul smell is the biggest indicator of some sort of infection. SEE A DOCTOR. Whatever you thought, do something rather than argue with advice you have asked for.

Different symptoms present at different times. Smell is usually the first sign of bacterial infection.

Brandye, I was not argueing with the advice I was given I was merely stating that I thought a yeast infection had different symptoms. There is no problem with me stating that I thought differently surely.

Yay, all cured up now, he thought it was an infection, gave me pack of tablets to last me 2 days, and now its ok.
Thanks
