underage sex..your views?

i recently found out some girls who are 13-14 in my school are already really experienced in sex..i'm not sure why but i feel kind of repulsed by it. i don't know why...does anyone else feel underage sex is a bit horrible? i was 16 when i did it..so not too young but not old...can anyone else try and get me out of this mind set i just find the idea of 13-14 yr olds doing it a bit awful!!!
what does everyone else think about it?

I don't find that you have a problem with thinking the way you do. We all develop positions on matters that concern us, no need to appologize or worry.

In a world where 9 and 10 years old girls get pregnant 13-14 don't surprise me. I remember in the NY Daily news years back a 9 year old gave birth. Now THAT is disturbing.....

When *I* was 13 girls were flat as a board with no ass. Today they look much older than they are. Must be the milk or something.

As always I still prefer the older women! Just turned 49 myself.

There are multiple threads on the same topic if you search this site. One is under kids having sex in classroom...

Its more a matter of opinion, but personally I believe that, as long as its in a safe enviroment and they use safe sex practices, I believe that it is fine.

I'm at the age of 15 years old and after I had sex for the first time I felt rather stupid because I should of waited.

I think that people that have safe protected sex is fine and it also depends on the people, the trust, the relationship and there maturity level.

The age difference between the people is also a factor that I think.

A child that is 14 shouldnt be sleeping with a 18 year old.

I've always wanted to know the "real" age line between adult and child...Thanks..

No it is not just 'nowadays'. I was 11 and I'm VERY glad I didn't wait! But then I was 5'9" and had a 36" chest when I was 11, which was a substantial number of years ago. Two teenagers exploring their sexuality is fine. The problem is when its a family member or an adult no longer in high school going after youngsters.

You also have to remember that our evolutionary history has programmed us for reproduction and people, when they only lived to age 30 or so, were marrying when much younger than they do today. So what you or I might think of as 'disgusting' may be something leftover from our past.

I do not condone adults pursuing kids.
But two teenagers in high school is another matter.

OO - 16 no way
16+ - Sure, if they know what they're doing.

hmmmm, yeah. 18

16 is cool.

agreed. 16+

I was 14, he just turned 18. (he was a senior and I was a freshman obviously) I don't regret my age, just the person it was with :P

I don't think age matters as long as its not forced, and its safe sex.

9 scares me haha, because its like wtf lol I didn't even know, or even THINK about what a cock looked like (I didn't grow up with a father).

Oh well, guess hormones react different for other people...I was a late bloomer...I started thinking about sex when I was nearly 14, then had it hahaha

14 is not late bloomer, is actually felony. But anyway, too young. I'd say 16 IF they knew WELL what they were doing, and one was not 18. That is a crime.

I meant I started puberty late, I didn't start menstruating till I was nearly 14. Anyways, consent to sex is 14 in Ontario Canada. He was still in high school, just happened to have his birthday. You can't tell me you didn't know freshmens' who dated seniors'. Its not like he raped me or anything, I felt I was ready and made the decision to do it. As I said i don't regret it, just that I wasn't "emotionally attached" to him, it was just a fling.

Don't get me wrong. May be ASC (age of sexual consent) in Canada, but here in POrtugal, he would get arrested. Besides, IMHO, 14 years old is too young too consent to sex. Just my view. Precisely because hormones are flying and you're not thinking straight. I know what my thoughts weere at 14. Not good... trust me... protection, for instance, was not on my mind at the time, I wasn't thinking. I'm glad my first was at 18. :D

Oh, we used protection. =) I strictly told him I wouldn't have it any other way, and to all guys who tried to get down my pants. The only person I was okay with it was with my fiance. (we have had unprotected because we both checked out and I am on another form of birth control)

and yeah...I know its illegal in Portugal, you know how I know :P

Yes but that is only your opinion and it is based only upon yourself.

'Two teenagers exploring' is fine if they are using BCPs and condoms and they are both being considerate.

Yeah I agree with you kitten, I wasn't trying to offend anyone, just stating my opinion.

=)

13-14 seems pretty young to be doing it. 16 probably is probably ok as long as the other person is the same age and both are somewhat mature enough for it. Protection is a MUST.

A 14 year old should never be doing it with an 18 year old. Four years age difference is fine when you are in your 30s but not your teens.

I started fooling around when I was 14 (with an 18 year old) and I lost my virginity when I was 15 (again to an 18 year old, but a different guy)...and when I was 14 and 15 I also fooled around with a woman who was my friend and quite a bit older than me.

Exploring sexuality is fine as long as it's safe. As EEK says. It really does depend on the person whether it is a positive or negative experience.

Not in South Carolina it isn't. The AoC in SC is 14 for females.

This is also considered "Jail-bait". Especially since in Cali. the AOC is 18.

I don't really have a problem with the kids doing it, although I think it's better to wait. I was 14, but now that I look back on it I wish I'd waited. It's weird, but I'm still friends with the girl I had my first time with and we talk sometimes, but it's clearly over between us.

The only thing I would have to say about sex at a young age is that there shouldn't be more than two years difference between the partners. In a perfect world I think people would wait, but obviously raging hormones make that kind of a lost cause.

the word underage shouldn't refer to the physical age of the person in question, unless he/she has yet to reach adolescence. Rather, "underage" should be determined by the mentality and maturity of the person. As long as the person has the mental leverage to understand the meaning/implication of sex, underage coitus isn't taboo.
