There is no rule that says you have to be the one to insert P into V. She can do it probably better since she knows where P and V both are. The ideal position for first intercourse is with the Woman Superior position. She can insert the penis, and use whatever angle, pressure, and speed she is comfortabl with. Later, if insertion has been successful, she can then rock, grind, or stoke the penis using whatever speed and rhythm seem pleasurable.
