I feel...ridiculous asking this, and I have tried looking through this forum and other sites but I can't find either a good video or instructions.

I know how to get the penis in (ive practiced) but once its in there....what do I actually do? Bearing in mind ill be on top..do I move up and down? or make my hips move forward and back?
forward and back sure would be easier....
oh and one last thing...how similar is sex to dry sex?
It would be helpful to know whether you have penis or have practiced with someone else' penis.
Sorry...I'm female and ive not practiced with a real penis but I wanted to make sure itd be ok going in and it was fine.
all i can say is make sure u know whats going on with your body and his before you have sex cus there is nothing worse then having sex on not knowing about either of your bodies
I will not worry too much about the logistics of movement it will all come to you when you are doing it, generally the male moves his hips back and forth more than the woman in most positions
Just enjoy it that is the most important but :D
