Trying to Understand Women

So, I have anger problems, sometimes, but I've never acted on them. Usually I take my stress out in other ways, sometimes by just running my mouth off.

So I was doing that with my girl friend, talking about an annoying kid who likes to ask me about the inner workings of my sex life in a rude way, and said to her that I could see myself, by the end of the year, punching him several times in the head.

I was completely not expecting the reaction I got.

She asked me if it was weird that she was aroused by the thought of me punching someone.

Now, that surprised me because I expected the usual response "Don't worry about it... he's just an *******, he'll stop being annoying... Ignore it..."

But no, I get that.

Not that I'm taking that as justification for hitting anyone - I have too much to risk for a stupid display of testosterone.

But, it's strange. Really strange.

I'm really trying to understand women. When you think you have them... BAM. They side-swipe you with a eighteen wheeler.

She is testing your anger limits and potential for violence...

I really don't think so. She seemed pretty sincere (and she's a terrible liar) about being aroused at the thought of me beating someone up.

Don't get me wrong, I've never done that, and I don't plan to do so anytime soon.

I guess that's probably it.

This thread is more for discussion, than answers.

It's just so weird to me.

You've got yourself a keeper! I've found that most women aren't too fond of my tendency to get into fights...

I don't have a tendency to get into fights, though.

Some guys, though, seriously. It's ridiculous.

Which brings us to the age old question... can violence be used for good?

Because these guys are pricks, seriously.

Well, the guy isn't exactly physically intimidating.

He's just obnoxious, and needs to learn to mind his own business.

OF COURSE VIOLENCE CAN BE USED FOR GOOD!!!

I mean come on superman and batman use violence all the time lol.

Seriously though, violence can be used for good. To save yourself or someone else. Or anything like that. Now if I had a girl who got her jollies by me punching people, OMG I would be so happy. I kept out of about 5 fights in the last year simply because my ex would have been upset.

Juast think about all those mating wildlife programs where the female chooses the male who dominates over the other competeing male.

A potential mate must be able to protect her and their children. Therefore a BELIEVABLE verbal display of prowess is very arousing. An actual fight is not - too scary. Then, of course, she could go with the size option and just get with the one man who is taller, more muscular, and has more fighting experience than the other guys. The "biggest gorilla on the block" idea.

Not so hard to understand after all!
