Trimming Up - Questions

Ok so i was reading about recently and decided to take the plunge and start trimming away. It's pretty typical, after doing i thought to myself "Why didn't i start this sooner?". Personally i think it looks a lot better, though i have a few questions.

I'm not willing to stick a razor near my gonads, never. Scissors are care are the way for me. But how much should be left on after going at it with the scissors?. Or is it down to personal preference?.

I heard it was normal for shaving to itch a bit, but is this normal with trimming too?. Getting a bit fidgety when i sit down and lean forward :D

How often does it normally take for pubic hair to grow back?.

Finally, bit of an odd one. Does anyone bother/know how you manage to keep the bit between the testes and my behind a little more trimmed without assistance or wax strips? :p

Thanks in advance :)

The amount you trim is totally due to personal preference, or maybe influenced by your partner. When I was using scissors only, I tried to leave the hair at 1 cm or less in length.

If I want to keep my parts nice and smooth, I need to shave them every 2-3 days. Though for the hair to grow back to 'natural' length you have to wait a few weeks.

When you trim, the blade causes the ends of the hairs get 'pointy' sort of like a newly sharpened pencil. That's why it feels prickly. After a couple of days of friction, these ends will become 'dull' and you won't feel so fidgety anymore.

Not sure about the hair on the pirenium though. It's kinda hard to see so it would be difficult to trim. Maybe you should sit in front of a mirror? Just be careful not to hurt yourself!

scissors seems dangerous too lol
I use one of those micro trimmers... "as seen on tv" lol
they are painless and trim just enuff so that it doesn't grow back itchy and stubbly.

I think those "as seen on TV" microtrimmers would probably be best if you're just "touching up", so to speak, an area with very little hair in the first place.

I've used one of those hair trimmers they use at barbershops. It works well on the upper crotch area, but you have to be careful on your scrotum, because it can cause cuts. When you buy one of these things, they come with these attachments that limit how close the blade can come to your skin. So I use the smallest attachment. It keeps my balls safe and gets a close enough trim.
