So my gf trimmed herself for the first time. It wasnt totally short, it looked like the length of a typical landingstrip only all over her vaginal area. After sex, the next day I noticed that my genital area was itching a lot. the next day that same area started to develop some puss which dried the next day turning into dry/flaky skin. Is this a result of teh trimmed hairs around her vagina or something else? if it is because of the trimmed hairs is there anything I can do to avoid the irritation?

Trimmed vagina leading to irritated penis

lol im sorry but i just have to say this :D
your genital area developed puss? ehheheheh
lol i know you mean pus .... but i just had this wild image going through my mind
of a guy going around growing pussies on him...
lol sorry ;):p:D
The vagina is an internal organ and is hairless. Let's assume you mean her pudenda or external genitals: That is what happens! Discuss it with her.
ok so the irritation to my genital area is normal when having sex with a female that trims her genital area?
Whe you shave any part of the body, stubble develops during the regrowth. Want to rub your penis on your chin with a three day growth of beard?
is there anything u can do to prevent the irritation? She doesn't want to shave, only trim.

No. Just have her grow the pubic hair longer...I have had similar episodes with me who shaved & had normal re-growth. It prickles & burns. I ask them to stop the shaving and let all grow back to normal. If they must, a gentle trim is all that is required.
so is the irritation because the hair was trimmed to short or because after she trims she needs a few days for the hair to grow back a little?
in other words, if I just trimmed it shorter would that solve the irritation problem? or if I trimmed it just as short and gave it a few days to grow back would that solve the problem?

Most likely SHE trimmed too short & has stubble. Pubic hair is course not soft when short. If she allows the length to grow over the next few days/weeks [based on how fast her pubic hair grows]...longer will be softer and less irritating.
If you cut or shave shorter? You will have double the issue of irritation and so will she!
A good aloe vera based after shave can help with the regrowth. I have a after shave lotion that when applied actually helps prevent razor burns, and "stubble burns' when I kiss someone.
Same thing works for my pubic area as well. When I shave it helps to keep the hair silky, even when it is merely 1/8 inch long. Prevents itchiness on me and irritation for her.

she doesn't shave so there's no stubble. it's just trimmed pretty short. She probably uses the 2 setting on the trimmer. ok so next time after she trims, we'll just wait a few days. thanks for the help!
There is no need for a trimmer. Scizzors work very well. Regulation length is 3/8ths of an inch since any shorter and you run the risk of ingrown hairs which are VERY unpleasant as well as ugly. The MOST important thing is that you're CLEAN not that you are shaved, trimmed, or natural.
we both like to use electric trimmers because it's quick, safe, and gives a uniform look. is there a benefit to using scissors over an electric trimmer? I don't think either of us trims so short that in grown hairs become an issue.
