Why don't you try fantasizing about what you want to do over and over until you are comfortable with it? Then it will not seem like the first time you are doing it and you will feel more experienced. Don't worry either, I am sure he will be happy with whatever initiative you take!

I used to be the same way as you but I have been taking medicine for 2 years now called Paxil for my anxiety disorder and I'm outgoing now, with friends and with Daniel!
If you're too shy then maybe you're not ready. If that's not the case then you've just got to do it! Maybe beforehand try discussing it (in person or on the phone) and see what he thinks on it and that will most likely drown some of your worries/shyness away. Once you overcome the shyness it's a great feeling. You can do anything you want with your boyfriend.

If you're shy about it (like I was) take things slow. Even though I was nervous and embarrassed to take the lead... after I started doing it and saw and heard.. and felt the pleasure I was giving him I started to get more bold and tried new things I told myself I never would try. I didn't like some of them but some of them... well it's a regular now haha.
