I am an 18 year old boy. This has always been a problem for me. I just have so much hair down below. I have plenty of hair over my body, such as my front torso, but absolutely no more, and maybe even less than average. In the past, I have tried shaving, but it gets really itchy when you shave and it rubs against your underwear. The girls I have been with don't mind some hair, but I have to trim it down some, and when I do, it just grows back as strong. What can I do?

Too much hair down below?
Not really sure you have anything other then what you are already doing. Trimming is usually the best imo since you dont get that itchy factor and yet you look decent to where a girl would be fine giving you a bj. Not sure you can control your hair growth really, other then knowing that trimming is your best bet.
Yah, just keep it trimmed if you don't like shaving a couple times a week, you don't need the nasty rough of sawgrass, so just keep the playground area like the fairways of Augusta! :)
When you shower, check it out and make sure you're at the regulation 3/8ths of an inch. If too long, use nose hair scizzors (blunt ends) and a comb and take care fo it. You shave your face everyday - so trim every couple of days - no big deal. It is what I do. But please leave the rest of your body hair alone, thank you.

Actually, being shaved has been normal in ancient times. Notably ancient Egypt and Rome. Also, I believe it is in the Koran to shave pubic hair off. It is just as normal to shave as it is to go au naturel.
Anyway personally, I shave...but because its comfortable for me, I get itchy when I don't shave. On my men, shaving is nice but not required, neither is trimming, but it makes it easier when I give head, because I like to deep throat.

I agree with eek - a trim every couple of days should be fine. My bf doesn't shave or trim, tho, and it's fine by me. I might prefer a little trimming to reduce the hair-in-mouth factor, but other than that it's good.
No reason to shave or trim. I am on the hairy side and have never had any complaints.

i keep my lower hair short with electric shaver, gets caught otherwise being long
keep the rest of my hair as it is, only wax my neck so it looks good and not too messy
