Hi people first off I have been married for 17 years this problem has been around since youth. The trouble is when I have sex I get had Very hard and stay hard for some time after sex some time hours!!! some times to the poing of pain. This is sometimes embarrassing. I once was quite drunk and had sex and my penis wasn’t as hard as is normally is and it felt much better. My wife made a comment to me today that in 19 years she hasn’t every seen my cock soft lol
Is this normal ? is there anything I can do about this and it the any long term medical troubles with this happing (ie) impatience down the road ?
Maybe I just a sex addict ……Or my wife has been feeding me Viagra lol

Being married seventeen years, I assume that you are well over thirty. That said, the situation you are describing indicates a medical problem and you should see a urologist. I neither have a penis nor am a urologist and would not presume to diagnose. The longer term consequences could be less than desireable.

Thanks for replying sorry I posted in the wrong place..I’m new here. I really wouldn’t feel comfortable talking about this with my Doctor unless you felt it to be very serious.
After searching and doing a lot of reading I see there are others having somewhat the same trouble. What would the worst case this that could happen ?
There is a difference between staying hard a little while after orgasms and then you are saying you are staying hard for hours.
Even the warnings on Viagra and Cealis (sp?), say that if the condition persists for more than 4 hours, then consult a DR or ER.
My guess is if the penis stays erect for hours, then all that blood in the vessels could over time damage them... then maybe lead to ED or something like that.
The issue which the commercials are bringing up is priapism and it is seen in patients with spinal cord injuries and can be an issue with the medications on the commercials. It's maintained erection which is painful which requires medical or surgical intervention. It's different then what is happening w/these cases.
It is serious and you should see a urologist. Embarassing or not - when it comes to your health...get the help you need.
Yes, if it stays hard for hours, and it hurts, you could have a problem. It could be a medical condition called priapism, which is potentially serious I believe. Probably should get it checked.
