I recently found out that my uterus is tilted towards my back. (not sure I why I was not informed at one of the exams in 10 years) This is has caused pain and bleeding during intercourse occasionally. Dr says that is normal and I have been tested for other problems that may cause this and all came back healthy and normal. My question is..is there any way to correct this or any certain thing that will enable it. Any suggestions are appreciated. The Dr just said it is something I will have to deal with, and probably so. I was just curious if anyone had any helpful hints..
Thank you

Tilted Uterus

This is not an unusual condition. It is usually for life. In extreme cases, surgery may be performed but for most women, what we get is what we get. I can understand pain during intercourse but do no understand what would cause bleeding - unless the two happen at about the same time during the same act.
I know of no secrets that can help other than avoiding those positions that do cause pain.
Ditto to what Brandye just said. It's not a big deal & should not cause you issues; if was severe the Gyn would have informed you.
Thank you for the info ladies. My only issue is the pain and bleeding. I only bleed when there is pain and the instant it begins to hurt we take a break and try another position. The only confusing thing is there is no rhyme or reason for the pain and bleeding. It is very random. I do appreciate the feedback

Have you spoke with your gyn about this? The only reason I can think of [for the bleeding] is irritation of an area, lack of lubrication--however is should be very scant or because of the onset of your period. For positioning; where he is hitting an area, such as the cervix or above it, may cause the pain or being too rough or prolonged for you. Have you had a pap done recently?
As far as a tipped/tilted uterus? Years back I was told the same & some nonsense about "You may have difficulty becoming pregnant" (This was about 28 years ago) and it was not an issue since when I was married; went off all birth control to conceive and it took 2 months. Miscarried for other reasons which were not medical in nature.
