This is the first time i've posted and i'm looking for some advice. I have a tilted cervix and it's causing me to cut really easily during sex. It's really frustrating because it means having to stop when I really want to go on. I then have to wait a day or two to heal before i can have sex again.
There are certain positions that i avoid because they cause pain and tearing straight away, but even then it still happens.
Does anybody else have this problem or any ideas how to prevent myself from getting cut?

my cervix never cuts, but my vagina will during sex. i'm not sure if this is a similar problem or not, but i'd love some advice on it too. similar problems, with the waiting a couple days and all. it's frustrating too, because i am usually very well lubricated and want to keep going. he isn't doing it too hard either, but i seem to tear very easily. that, and after the fact, a burning sensation. i am disease free (regularly checked) so i'm not sure what the problem is..... very frustrated though to say the least.

I have heard of tearing. An Asian women (possible prolasped cervix) said "she tore" during sex and did no want to continue. I'm not sure tear is the right word, as english was not her first language. What would tear it?[/QUOTE]
a knife
wow that was in bad taste
but that horrid comment aside I would definatley see an OB/GYN or your General Practitioner

I googled it and everything I read seems to recommend doggy style.
I am concerned with your description of "cut really easily during sex." A tilted cervix (sometimes tilted uterus) is a not uncommon situation. Sometimes there is difficulty conceiving (don't count on it!!!) and sometimes discomfort in certain positions during intercourse. But "cut" I have never heard mentioned. I will assume that the cervix is being constantly bumped by the penis and causing a contusion of some sort.
See a gynocologist - preferably a woman. Yes, I am being sexist but women gyn's can identify with some stuff that perfectly competent men cannot. Describe the situation and see what she comes up with. It may be because of the particular angle of tilting or could have something else with the sahpe of the internal organs. Or the shape of his external organ. Nothing to be diagnosed other than with exam.
