My gf said that giving head has been shown to be a possible cause of throat cancer, do to constant rubbing in the back of the throat. Any truth to this? It is certainly nothing I have ever heard of.
(She still has no problem giving oral, she just said she heard this somewhere)
Perhaps she heard a poorly formed rumor based off of something like this?

CAUTION: The medical community does not know the answer to this question. The cited study had a sample size of 100. There are other studies ongoing and it appears that HPV-16 may be a more important factor than we have considered it to be. How the HPV-16 gets there is really not known and 100 cancer patients and 200 people filling out a survey do not give a good picture. It appears simply from the numbers that homosexual men were in the majority. Right or not, that skews the sample and opens the door to many other life-style factors. A factor is being suggested but a cause has not been established.
It does appear to be another factor supporting that all women eligible have the Gardasil series.
Yea I read it, didn't it say something about it being a possible factor? Or did I mis-read it?
