Not when actually engaged in enjoying the current partner, no. During introspective moments, perhaps.
the only way I think of an "ex" is to prolong the deed, wondering how the hell I ever let my standards slip that low!! :)

Is your husband the best lover you've been with? If not, do you desire your other partners more? Or does it just not factor in?
I'm not going to lie, I've thought about some of my exes while having sex with the SO de jour. Sometimes she'll do something or will prefer a specific type of stimulation that will remind me of a past lover.
Browneyed, no, he isn't but he is very close to it, and no, it is not a factor. Sex is important and skills matter but when it is a question of the heart - that is something else again.
At one point I had a subscription to Playboy before switching back to the far superior Maxim, and for a period an insecure girlfriend accused me of fantasizing about the women in those magazines.
