I went to my doc about 6 years ago having a found a lump adjacent to my left testicle. He checked it out and said it was a 'fatty lump' and not a threat. The lump grows (about 2cms in diameter) and is a bit of a nuisance; a bit sensitive, but maybe all around and within the scrotum is sensitive.
Would it be sensible to discuss removal of this lump? Would it be minor or major surgery? What time scale for recovery (I look after ageing wife with severe disability and would not wish to leave her too long)
Thanks for any advice.

Testicular Lump

Generally if they are painful; the rule is to remove them. Surgically it's same day surgery, and recovery time will take a few weeks; however, the only restrictions are generally heavy lifting, no jogging, etc. Nothing too major.
