Testicle Texture

I recently experienced a slight dull pain in my groin area. I am almost 42 and was concerned. I always examine myself in the shower and could find no lumps anyware. However I still decided to go to my doctor. She examined me and could find no lumps etc but she did comment on the texture of my testicles. She thought that my right testicle felt differnt from my left one. The right one felt softer to her in comparrison to the left. She was not overly concerned and I did not question her any further.
So my question is - Do any of you men or indeed woman who explore your mans testicles find a difference in texture from one to the other.
should I be worried. I have no effects and the dull pain ( I was almost embarrassed calling it a pain - it was just there - if you know what i mean) which took me there has gone.

I have felt many testicles both personally and professionally. If I feel something out of the ordinary I make a urological referral. Your doctor does not sound too concerned but the step would be a urologist.

Thanks Bradye,
I was hoping you would reply. I will give her a call.
So you would consider having one testicle feel softer than the other as out of the ordinary. Having examined myself the left one does feel softer and can be squeezed much more than the right. ( I may have said the opposite in my inital thread - just a mistake while typing the post)
