How do you all feel about being talked dirty to? Personally, I find myself very uncomfortable with it, though I do not consider myself a prude. I had a partner when he gradually became more comfortable with me, start to be really into using dirty language in bed. I felt so disconcerted by it I didn't know what to do. For some reason, it conjured up some cheap porn film and it felt very degrading to me. Besides just not being a fan of talk in the bed, I don't like to talk in that manner or hear other people talk in that manner.
To give you a relevant example, I have had guys compliment me on the size/shape of my breasts in bed. But there was a huge difference for me mentally when hearing "great tits" and "great breasts", namely the former made me feel like a whore and I took the latter to be a warm compliment.
What do you guys think about the matter?
Talking dirty doesn't have to be crude and seedy. It can be deliciously erudite, sophisticated and decadent. You just have to know how to do it. I suspect a lot of guys fall back too much on what they see in porn when it comes to bedroom activities in general.
In my case, I love making dirty talk! My last gf was long distance and regular phone sex was a major part of our relationship. Also in the bedroom, she literally demanded that I talk dirty to her. She had trouble cumming unless I had a long stream of really forceful dirty talk going on.
For men especially, I think dirty talk is a powerful tool for sexually connecting with a receptive partner. Just the right words can have her primed and ready on hot standby before you even get into the bedroom! ;)
