Exactly what i was thinking. i was going to start chopping it down a week b4 hand everyday until it was right down. we have already decided that we arnt going to fool around for a week or 2 b4 hand so we will be very horny.

Why take so long? Just take the sissors and cut the hair down to skin level and then use a safety razor always with fresh new blades shaving the remaining hairs with the grain. Returning stubble will cause itching so be prepared to do a touch-up before the planned event if you do this a few days ahead of time.
You might also just consider going for the short cropped look where the hair is kept short and not "bald".

It is a cute movie that came out a few years ago that the two of you should enjoy. It is not X-rated although it will raise your anxiety level.
