My breasts have been sore for about a week and I'm due for my period pretty soon. But im a little worried because this isn't a normal 'symptom' or so you should call it when I get my period. I have also been taking lifeguard courses where I am in and out of the water constantly and i have a bathing suit with poor support. I'm 16, and sexually active, - am i worring too much or is this just a normal thing, or is there a cause for it?

Sore Breasts
My breasts do tend to get more tender when I am due for my period.
Do you think you have anything to worry about...ie... an "accident" or anything concerning BC?
You are still young.. so your body is still adjusting w/ hormones and stuff... so symptoms could probably vary.
There are some months where breast tenderness is evident and other's where it's not. It should subside with the onset of your period.
I guess I'm like demonbuttercup - sore before the period. It's pretty normal.
For many women, including me, this is normal. Unless you have reason to suspect pregnancy, relax.
