Every woman has external lips (labia majora), inner lips (labia menora) and a clitoral hood (prepuce). Some of us have small ones, and others, large. The ideal is when not aroused the only thing visible is the vulva with everything tucked neatly inside. Most of us have protrusions of various sorts. Look at any erotic site (not porn, erotic photography) and you will see differences. You seem to have found a woman with more protrusion than you have encountered in the past.
