Shaving it all off!

my bf was wondering wat i'd look like completely shaven down there...i've normally just kept a neatly shaven triangle and have never waxed before. is it a really bad idea to try and shave it off with a razor? i mean, won't it be all stubbly? does anyone have any tips or can recommend the best way for me to do this with the least hassle and best results possible? i won't want to regularly be completely hair free..i made do it occasionally as one offs for him, but i would appreciate anyone's advice!!

Hey

When my guy told me he wanted me "clean" down there, I shaved. Later, I regretted it. SOOO ITCHY!! I tried it a few more times after that, and i always hated it. So, one day while I was out, I bought some VEET Bikini cream. aka: hair removal cream. I found I could shave for the most part, but the cream came in handy for a few parts. The best part about the cream is that when the hair grows back... ITS NOT ITCHY!!!! I tried Neet as well... it worked allright, but I think Veet is the best one out there.. for me that is. Anyways.. if you don't like shaving because of the itchyness... try out one of the creams... hm.. speaking of which.. I should go get more today... but thats beside the point. TTYL

OK, first off, plucking!!! OMG OUCH! I have shaved in previous years, and it is a pain, I now keep myself trimmed and shave near my vagina and around the edges so to speak. Jergans has come out with this GREAT lotion which i strongly reccomend to anyone, its called "Naturally smooth" shave minimizing lotion and is in a white bottle with a blue top. The stuff is AWESOME!!! It starts to work in a couple weeks and as long as you put it on every day, you will be fine, no rough stubble, etc. works wonders! (use it on your legs too, and dont put it in anywhere!)

Oh yeah, and don't use that lotion to jerk your guy off either!!!

I have sensitive skin also so I can understand your concern... Here are a few links that might help you out...

I have sensitive skin though and a milder form of dermatographism.
Plucking wouldn't be wise for me and would cause pain regardless.

I'll stick with my razor. lol.

The plucking actually avoids this irritation and the nasty red bumps and itching... Keep in mind that you don't pluck the entire area every day either... Just a few minutes everyday for the 15-20 hairs that grow back everyday long enough to pluck... Sounds crazy but it doesn't really hurt and and after a day or two of the initial shave, no more red bumps... You do get the occasional ingrown hair however...

A good way to avoid the itching is to shave it all off and then a few days later begin to pluck the tiny hairs out... I usually do about 5 to ten minutes worth every day and this negates the need for further shaving, waxing and prevents the red bumps and itching when too much hair starts to grow back...

Hope this helps some...

Plucking.... ow. lol.

I personally shave. I shave it once a week. If I try to do it more frequently, I break out and get irritated.

I do still get some irritation and some itching when the new hairs grow, but it's not as bad as it used to be. I've also found that if I don't wear undies after I shave (I usually shave it at night), then I don't get all that irritated. I really don't get irritated if I don't wear any at all for the next day or so.

Moose is right, I shaved down there and it was extremely itchy for about a week. I do keep it trimmed though.

All the information and tips you want about shaving can be found in the "Shaving 101" threads on either the "Him/Her Pleasure" boards (not sure which one... perhaps both)... you should always try there first for any topics involving shaving

well now, im new to the forums but not new to this situation, i wanted my gf to shave for a long time and finally asked her to, she did and it was excellent, but i as well always shave, i have always done it because i perfer how it feels, i would not shave with a razor because you get ingrown hairs, rather use an electric razor like me and my gf both do and get it as short as that can with alike a trimmer on it, this allows for no discomfort when growing in. plus its just as good as none at all, because that only lasts a day or 2 anyway
