hey i'm pretty much new to not only this message board, but the entire being "sexual" thing. but now, i'm 15 going on 16 and i've got a boyfriend and i've found out that i'm a really good giver, if you know what i mean. and i've never been much of a reciever (for lack of want, and i guess lack of willingness from some guys).
but the thing is, i'm really shy about my own body. and my boyfriend told me he wants to go down on me. is anyone else self-concious about what it looks like down there?
on my own, i shave pretty much everything, except the lips of my vagina. because its really hard to get down there with my shaver. and i also have hair on the inside lips of the vagina...so even if i do get the lips of my vagina really well --- i still have these hairs on the inside.
i want it to be perfect for when he goes down there...so how can i get my little kitty bald without cutting up my sensitive inner-skin down there? thank you so much in advance! 
Shaved or not shaved doesn't really matter when "going" down on a lady.....in real life...you usually always have to move a little bit of the "parsley" to get to the steak!!...
First off if he wants to go down on you then he obviously likes what you have. I remember my girlfriend felt the same way but while we would be in the shower or cuddling naked on the bed I would just give her compliments about her body and soon enough she was very comfortable with herself. Secondly she (my girlfriend) decided to start shaving and of course the first few times she would use a razer and it was nice the first day or so but then the hairs started getting prickly and it would hurt me so she ended up going to walmart and getting an electric razer and using that and she loves it and i have no problem.
what I do when I want to shave the inner lips is I gently pull them back ( while sitting in a comfortable position were I can see my Labia) and the very carefully shave there as I would everywere else. howver, shave with he grain nd not against it, shaving against the grain irritates the skin. so its best to use a down ward stroke on the out side of the labia, but a gentle upward stroke on the inner lips. ^-^ works great for me. *pats smoothness*

for the record i am EXTREMELY self conscious about my body especially the area in question... the reason y i started to shave it.
To get the problem hair u might want to utilize a mirror. Get into a position that exposed the hair . Take your time, (this takes practice) hold the lip out so that u can see the hair inside and slowly shave it... try not to make too many passes. I can swing this in the shower, standing, but u may need to sit down the first couple of times. Make sure u use some kind of shaving cream for sensitive skin. If u use a razor, hope that it has those little protective bars, if not u might want to invest in one.
