Hi, soon I might be getting with a girl I've known for quite a while. It's nothing to do with a relationship, just sleeping together for the sake of it. We've both talked about and are both up for it. Now I am not a virgin myself and niether is she, the last time i was sexualy involved with a girl I just left my pubic region well alone, but lately i've been feeling like doing something with it, so today i decided to take a razor to me nads lol. Well I've finished now and I'm quite pleased with my result, with short hair left around the top. Although 'm pleased with the look of it and the feel, there is also a bit of itching, i think this is caused by a bit of stubble i can't quite find. I would just really appreciate it if anyone could guide me in the direction of something which will prevent the itching. Or will it just go away sooner or later?

Shaving and itching

First, I'm not a guy but I do shave down there.
After a while of shaving, the irritation and itching will go down. It will still be there, but not as bad.
The growing of new hairs is really what makes you itch and causes the irritation. If your skin can handle it, it's best to shave every day so that the hairs don't grow.
I also use pure aloe after I shave down there. It cools the skin down and moisturizes it. And as long as I'm not on that time of the month, that night I won't wear any underwear. Just like a loose pair of shorts. Which I guess you could say, you could just wear a loose fitting pair of boxers.
And if you look around a couple other sections on here (or at least one other one), there's some topics pinned at the top about shaving. Try reading those. Some of the advice in there may help.

Duh, no kidding!
When you go to bed at night, sleep nude and use vaseline on your penis and scrotum. It'll help with the itching. However, you will have greasy sheets. To avoid that, wear underwear.
You shave; you itch. What else can I say. It is the stubble that makes things itch and, with a man, there is lots of stuff around to irritate. Some guys who have stayed with it may have advice.
