Many people think its a waste of time whilst others believe it to be essential!
For me, playing sexy music in the background whilst making love, makes the whole experience more relaxed and romantic..
I want to play some sexy music whilst giving my boyfriend a lap dance, and then when moving onto sex!
Does anyone have any suggestions for the best sexy songs to set the mood and a beat to give us good rhythm??

My GF and I really like having Pink Floyd in the background.
It really depends on personal taste though.

Any music can work.
For instance if you want the sex to be rough and hard- you can use, rock, arena, rap music. Anything that stirs in you the urge of rough thrusting ecstasy.
As for me, I know I'd love being making love to...so my music will range from meditative/relaxtion music to soft rock and Rnb.
It depends on how you feel
Music is rather personal... But if you'd like to try something out, my advice would really be: 'Inertia creeps' by Massive Attack. Great beat with a deep and mysterious voice! Then just let the music run along with some other great songs such as Risingson or Butterfly caught, while you just move along to whatever good things happening :) Really: the first one sets the mood! O yes, this brings back some good memories.... should really repeat it soon... O, hunny, you awake? ;)
Music by Posthumus works very well if you expect EPIC sex but if it is something a bit more 'serene' you want then you cannot do better than Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.

I think Moonlight Sonata is a good choice. The first movement is serene, but the third movement is very passionate and intense. Perhaps even frustrated.....;)
Yes, and it is perfect for body worshipping.
But do not let the passion of E. S. Posthumus turn you off - it is very..ahem.. invigorating.
Skin glowing amber in the candle light against the dark, his head filled with rich music as you relentlessly take him apart and put him back together again.
Yeah - Good Stuff!
I like Massive Attack - mezzanine cd and Cosmic gate - Sign of the times.
Both cd's you can listen to without skipping a track or waiting. I have used either cd with an ex girlfriend and only you and her need to know how much noise she is making.
I am sure there is other cd's out there which work well and just have to find them
Does anyone know of any online stores where one can buy some sexy or romantic music to set the mood?

Brian Culbertson!
We favore Jonny Mathis, I'm sure I spelled his name wrong but his music is very sensuous.
nope!
I'm still sticking with E. S. Posthumus.
Try his "Nara".
Can be found on iTunes.
Ah yes, the group all the directors go to when they need music for their epic scenes. They're quite common though most don't know all those theme songs and soundtracks are the same group. One could also type their name into Pandora to get a good sampling for free.
If someone prefers something less modern but still epic - Ravel's Bolero. The crescendo is quite appropriate.
Well, sex is EPIC isn't it??
Just want to share this beauty:
Prehistoric Pubescent Grand Prix
Way Down Below Buffalo Hell by Jam Nation Catalogue Real World Records
And from a different category, but also very nice (I love her voice! :)):
AU, Nu Taboo, Puppet, Ride the pain
Random Order by Juliet
i like listening to metal when i jack off, and my girlfriend likes metal too, so we would probably listen to something heavy (if at all)
what bands do you listen to calliton? there was one song i thought that would sound okay for sex and it sounded similar to metallica's sad but true. not exactly what i would say would keep the mood going.

i like that album a lot, thank you RR. i will buy this for future use;)
You're welcome! :) Which one btw?
I;m indeed curious, Calliton! I'll admit immediately I like listening to a bit of more rough music myself too :) I like screaming to my Metalica cd's. But that just doesn't make me feel sexy... ;)
I also like the more melancholic gothic and symphonic rock. Nightwish among my favorites; their lyrics are like beautiful poetry! Some of those songs have reference to sex, but it would be a bit too dramatic to be "sexual music" for my taste.

wow, i didnt think anyone would be interested in little ole me
I like to self pleasure myself to alot of the classics. Stuff like Sad But True by metallica, or alot of Black Sabbath. War Pigs is a great song, it is quiet for abit then gets louder. For Whom The Bells tolls (metallica) is nice too.
any iron maiden would be nice, oh and pantera's cowboys of hell! ive had dreams involving that last one ;) Alot of Anvil's older stuff has sexual themes, twould be good for sex stuff. their songs include backwaxed and school love and butter bust jerkey. anything that is lively and classic metal, back when you needed talent to be popular. Iced Earth is good too, a slight bit of Gwar.
id have to pay attention to my choices more
the first one; it was early 90's sounding which is when i grew up and remember all the love scenes played that kind of music.
I like screaming to my Metallica cd's.
that just up'd your sexiness. metallica is my favorite metal band.
There is something hot about Marilyn Manson's version of Sweet Dreams. And the song House of Flies (I forget the artist) something about this dark music makes it so hot.
Ill always remember a night with this goth girl. Marylin Manson, black light, body paints, handcuffs....still sends chills down my spine...
I like different things: baroque, classical, romantic, impressionist 20th century experimental, folk, world music, new age, rock and roll and all it's sub-genres, jazz sometimes, blues. About all don't abide are reggaetone, rap and salsa. Funny when I was in college I used to like to play the side of Led Zeppelin's The Song Remains the Same soundtrack that contained "Dazed and Confused" (30 minutes) and try to get my girlfriend to reach orgasm at the climax of the bowed guitar solo bouncing from speaker to speaker. I remember she once said she was getting tired of Led Zep. Funny, now I see her performing Led Zep tunes all over the place:p Wonder if she ever thinks of me when she does that?
@EvilEvilKitten. I am acquainted by Posthumous' works as well of those of his distant cousin Attributed To.
there is a dazed and confused version that is 30 minutes?
By 1973 it usually ran around 30 minutes. Check The Song Remains the Same movie or soundtrack. Or you can get it in 8-10 minute bits on you tube.
YouTube - Led Zeppelin- Dazed And Confused part 1/4 - Earls Court 1975 Of course if you stop having sex every 10 minutes to click the next clip it might lose some of the charm.
Still voting for Posthumus !

then once she has you where she wants you switch to Zoar
Secrets of the Dead by Zoar
(chuckling)
I'd rather listen to some deep house music or smooth jazz but that's just me
to sum up what i said, basically anything you could headbang to, it kind of moves you
but i agree that slower music would be great for making love
Slower, smoother??
Okay, but what about when her blood's up and you're her meat?
Then you want the EPIC high energy stuff!
If its something that epic and high in energy, then I'm going to be too busy jumping and dancing since I listen to that kind of music all the time lol

then you put on nickelback's "animals"
i really like Robin Thicke's album Sex Therapy:The Experience for listening to either during the day or in bed. i recommend you check it out because you will put some of the songs in your bedroom playlist;)
